COOLANT FOR COOLING SYSTEMS IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES HAVING FUEL CELLS AND/OR BATTERIES CONTAINING AZOLE DERIVATIVES AND ADDITIONAL CORROSION PROTECTANTS
Coolants based on alkylene glycols or derivatives thereof are useful for cooling systems in electric vehicles having fuel cells and/or batteries, preferably for motor vehicles, particularly preferably for passenger cars and commercial vehicles (known as light and heavy duty vehicles). The coolants contain additional corrosion inhibitors for improved corrosion protection in addition to specific azole derivatives.
Vehicle thermal management system, heat transfer medium and method for cooling vehicle driving battery
A vehicle thermal management system includes a vehicle driving battery that generates heat during charging and discharging and a liquid heat transfer medium that transfers heat received from the battery. The system further includes a heat receiver that causes the heat transfer medium to receive heat through heat exchange with the battery and that includes a portion in contact with the heat transfer medium and made of a material containing aluminum. The system further includes a refrigerant heat exchanger that causes the heat transfer medium to release heat through heat exchange with a refrigerant and that includes a portion in contact with the heat transfer medium and made of a material containing aluminum. The heat transfer medium includes a liquid base material including water, an orthosilicic acid ester compatible with the liquid base material, and an azole derivative and has an electric insulation property.

System for the production of molten salt used as a heat transfer medium for a pyrolysis system
A system for the production of molten salt. The system can have a preparation tank configured to melt raw salts, and a bubbler system in communication with the preparation tank. The bubbler can be configured to maintain vacuum conditions within the preparation tank and to remove gases from the preparation tank. A method for producing molten salt includes a step of providing a system for the production of molten salt. The system can have a preparation tank configured to melt raw salts, and a bubbler system in communication with the preparation tank. The bubbler can be configured to maintain vacuum conditions within the preparation tank and to remove gases from the preparation tank. Then, the method can include inserting raw salt into the preparation tank, and heating the raw salt to form molten salt. Then filtering the molten salt, and storing the molten salt.
