A polymerizable composition solution that has good storage stability and allows a polymerizable compound in the polymerizable composition to be aligned well with no defects after application to a base and removal of a solvent by a drying process and also an optically anisotropic body that includes the solution and has good alignment without any defects. A solution containing a polymerizable composition and an organic solvent, wherein the polymerizable composition contains 90 mass % or more of a polymerizable compound intramolecularly having a 2-methyl-1,4-phenylene group as represented by general formula (1) and an optically anisotropic body including the solution.

An object of the present invention is to provide a film capable of giving a necessary retardation without degrading the contrast. The present invention provides a retardation film formed from a composition which includes a polymer compound, a rod-like liquid crystal compound and a photo-reactive compound, wherein the polymer compound has a side chain which has one or more azo groups and/or cynnamate groups, and 3 or more and 10 or less arylene groups; the side chain further has an optionally substituted amino group, or a hydrocarbon group at the terminal; an absolute value of difference between an SP value of the polymer compound and an SP value of the photo-reactive compound is 1.1 or less; and an in-plane retardation of the film at wavelength of 550 nm is 10 nm or more and 200 nm or less.

The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, a protective film for polarizers, which includes a cured product of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, a polarizer, and a liquid crystal display (LCD). In the present invention, a pressure-sensitive adhesive showing excellent endurance reliability in high-temperature and/or high-humidity conditions and having superior physical properties such as cuttability, re-peeling property, and workability can be provided. In particular, it is possible to provide the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which can prevent light leakage that may occur in an LCD, even when being applied to a film having a low stress optical coefficient.
Formulations for the production of electronic devices
The present invention relates to formula, comprising at least one solvent, and at least one functional composition of the general formula (I), wherein A is a functional structural element, B is a solvent-providing structural element, and k is an integer in the range of 1 to 20. The molecular weight of the functional composition is at least 550 g/mol, and the solvent-providing structural element B corresponds to the general formula ((L-I). Ar1, Ar2 JeWeUs, independently of each other, signify an aryl or heteroaryl group, which can be substituted with one or several discretionary residues R. Each X is, independently of one another, N or CR2, preferably CH. The present invention further relates to preferred compositions of the formula (I) and electronic devices containing said compositions.

An aspect of the present invention relates to a wavelength conversion member, which comprises a wavelength conversion layer, wherein the wavelength conversion layer comprises at least one quantum dot which has a property of being excited with exciting light to emit fluorescence, and at least one oxygen permeability coefficient-reducing agent, an oxygen permeability coefficient per 1 mm thickness of the wavelength conversion layer is less than 150.0 cm.sup.3/m.sup.2/day/atm, and the oxygen permeability coefficient-reducing agent is a compound which exhibits an oxygen permeability coefficient-reducing capability of reducing the oxygen permeability coefficient per 1 mm thickness of the wavelength conversion layer by equal to or more than 30% per 10 parts by weight of the oxygen permeability coefficient-reducing agent relative to 100 parts by weight of the wavelength conversion layer except for the oxygen permeability coefficient-reducing agent.
