A liquid crystal cell includes a color filter substrate, an array substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and two alignment control layers. The color filter substrate includes a color conversion layer for converting color of light but not include an alignment film containing polyamic acid or polyamide. The array substrate is opposed to the color filter substrate. The alignment control layers are formed on an inner surface of the color filter substrate and an inner surface of the array substrate, respectively. The alignment control layers contact the liquid crystal layer. The alignment control layers are made of reactants of radical polymerizable monomers added to a liquid crystal material for forming the liquid crystal layer. The alignment control layers control orientations of liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer. The radical polymerizable monomers include radical polymerizable monomers having ultraviolet-ray absorbing functional groups.

The displaying medium layer is between the conductive layers. The drive unit is electrically connected with the conductive layers. The drive unit provides a driving voltage between the conductive layers for driving the displaying medium layer to change the light permeability. At least one conductive layer has hollow portions arranged at intervals, forming a grille structure with a plurality of division portions. With the hollow portions arranged at intervals, during the lightening of the display screen, the transmittance of the hollow portions is higher than that of the division portions, improving the transmittance of the conductive layer. Thus, with the anti-peeping device hung on the displaying screen, the screen brightness would not decrease.

The display panel uses a polymer film obtained by polymerization of a click chemistry reaction of a “thiol and double bond” system to anchor an orientation state of the liquid crystal molecules on the substrate surface, with few impurities and a low risk of image sticking displayed on the panel.

The present invention relates to a photo-curable adhesive composition comprising a (meth)acrylate capped aliphatic polyurethane having an average number of ethylenically unsaturated groups less than 1, a mono-functional (meth)acrylate monomer or oligomer and a photoinitiator. The adhesive composition can be used in a method of bonding a substrate to a liquid crystal display. The adhesive composition according to the present invention has improved side curing depth.

A foldable electronic device module includes a glass cover element having a thickness from about 25 μm to about 200 μm, an elastic modulus from about 20 GPa to about 140 GPa and a puncture resistance of at least 1.5 kgf. The module further includes a stack with a thickness between about 100 μm and about 600 μm; and a first adhesive joining the stack to the cover element with a shear modulus between about 1 MPa and about 1 GPa. The stack further includes a panel, an electronic device, and a stack element affixed to the panel with a stack adhesive. Further, the device module is characterized by a tangential stress at a primary surface of the cover element of no greater than about 1000 MPa in tension upon bending the module to a radius from about 20 mm to about 2 mm.
