Power-ventilated soft headgear
A soft headgear is provided. The soft headgear includes a soft outer layer, an inner liner layer formed from an air permeable material, a rigid substructure disposed between the soft outer layer and the inner liner layer, an active ventilation system located at the crown of the soft headgear, and a power supply operably coupled to the active ventilation system. The rigid substructure includes a plurality of ribs extending radial from a crown of the soft headgear to a ring of the rigid substructure, thereby forming air conduction pathways. The active ventilation system exhausts air drawn in through the ring of the rigid substructure and out through the crown of the soft headgear. The power supply provides power for the active ventilation system.
Reversible hat
A headgear including both a cap crown assembly that can be tucked inside-out and a brim assembly that can be rotated to reverse the headgear without requiring the brim assembly from being completely detached from the cap assembly. The brim assembly includes a spring-loaded pin that allows the visor assembly to rotate 360 degrees until the desired positioning is achieved. A reinforcement assembly maintains the structural integrity of the headgear when the brim is separated from the cap crown assembly during the reversal process.
FOOTWEAR PLATE
A plate for an article of footwear includes a substrate, a first strand portion attached to the substrate via first stitching, and a second strand portion disposed on the first layer. The first strand portion includes first segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a first layer on the substrate. The second strand portion includes second segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a second layer on the first layer.

Reconfigurable Brim
A reconfigurable brim for a hat. The reconfigurable brim includes a body disposed on a plane. The body includes a hinged core that can selectively deform into a plurality of variable positions, such that in each position a first angle is formed between a first lateral side and a second lateral side of the body, and a second angle is formed between a front section and an opposing rear section of the body. The hinged core can retain each position until selectively reconfigured and allows for repeated reconfiguration without weakening the ability of the hinged core to retain each position. In some embodiments, the hinged core is a matrix embedded into an elastic layer. The hinged core allows the body to be independently and repeatedly repositioned along any point of a lateral axis and longitudinal axis of the plane of the body.
Personal Cooling Device
A method and apparatus comprising a headgear that has a channel conduit implemented therein, preferably on a brim of the headgear. The channel conduit is operatively connected to a liquid source via a conduit. The liquid source holds a liquid, such as water. A liquid pumping means in the liquid source pushes the liquid, under pressure, through the conduit, into the channel conduit. Tiny openings in the channel conduit expel the liquid in the form of minute droplets, which readily evaporate because of their tiny size. Their evaporation produces a cooling effect in an area around the channel conduit, such as around the facial area of a user wearing the apparatus.
FOOTWEAR PLATE
A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear is disclosed. The method includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. The adjacent segments of the first strand portion having a greater density across a width of the plate between a medial side and a lateral side at a midfoot region of the plate than at a forefoot region of the plate and at a heel region of the plate. The method also includes applying at least one of heat and pressure to the first strand portion and to the base layer to conform the first strand portion and the base layer to a predetermined shape.

Headware interface for animals
A headwear device is provided for the comfortable and secure positioning of a hat on the head of an animal such as a dog. The device features a body having an interior adapted to engage the head of the animal with side portions having openings therein adapted for encircling the ears of the animal during wearing of the headwear. A position-adjustable fastener adapted for locating under the chin of the animal, is slidably engageable with both of two straps connected to opposing sides of the hat body. A slide adjuster on both of the first and second straps may be employed to cinch both straps and tighten the engagement on the head of the animal.
Earmuffs having hot packs therein
The present invention is directed to earmuffs, and is intended to allow for hot packs to be used, thereby improving the effect of protecting ear regions from cold and a cold wave in the winter season. In order to achieve this, the present invention provides earmuffs (10) including a pair of ear covers (11) and a band (12) configured to connect the ear covers (11), wherein reception slots (13) through which hot packs (20) configured to generate heat are inserted and stored are formed in the ear covers (11), respectively.
