Wireform attachment mechanism
A wireform attachment mechanism, or support arm, that can be used to attach an earcup to a helmet. The outer end of the support arm can be opened to release the earcup, or closed to clamp onto the earcup.
OUTER SHELL FOR A SAFETY HELMET
The invention relates to an outer shell for a safety helmet (1), in particular for a motorcycle safety helmet, for distributing impact forces, said outer shell having an outer shell material (2). The outer shell is characterized in that, on a side (3) having the outer shell material (2) of the outer shell, the outer shell has a cover (4) having the outer shell material (2) in order to hold an antenna (5) between the cover (4) and the side (3). The invention further relates to a safety helmet (1) having such an outer shell and to a method for producing such an outer shell.
Protective helmet cap
The present disclosure provides an apparatus for use in reducing the impact to the head during sporting activities. The present disclosure provides a helmet cap that covers an underlying hard shell helmet. The helmet cap has a durable, energy absorbing outer shell, which lessens the initial impact to the helmet. The outer shell is formed into segments of padded material that may deform on impact. The outer shell has an inner surface that allows the outer shell to slide over the surface of a helmet thereby reducing forces applied to a wearer. The helmet cap may be securely attached to helmets without modification of the helmets. The helmet cap may include an adjustable fastener that allows the helmet cap to be securely attached to helmets of varying dimensions.
Support for helmets
The invention relates to a support for helmets formed from a single body defining an upper surface (1) provided with adhesive that can be fixed to the outside of a helmet and a lower surface (2), wherein said body comprises three legs (3, 4) attached to one another at one of their ends, defining a Y shape. Preferably, the angle of separation () between two of said legs is 90 and the angle of separation () with the other leg is 135. Said support allows assuring the stability of a helmet when it is placed on a planar surface with the support, since said three legs act like a tripod.
Cycling helmet system
A system for preventing insects from entering the vent openings of bicycle helmets including a preferably elastic shell-shaped covering of an open mesh material wherein the mesh openings are sized to prevent insects from passing through such that when the covering or barrier is mounted over or in the helmet, the desired insect prevention is achieved.
In-mold protective helmet having integrated ventilation system
The present invention provides a lightweight protective helmet having an improved ventilation system therein. The protective helmet comprises an outer shell and an inner liner that are joined together to form a shell/liner composite. The ventilation system interacts with one or more ventilation ports in the protective helmet to control the flow of ambient air in and out of the interior of the protective helmet. The ventilation system may be integrated or encased within the shell/liner composite, or it may be adapted to be used on the exterior of the helmet. In addition, the ventilation system may include one of several types of interchangeable insert members to allow active or passive control of ambient air into the interior of the helmet.
System for supporting the head-helmet unit of a passenger inside a vehicle
A system for lifting the head of an individual in a vehicle who is wearing a helmet, the system comprising suspension means for suspending the helmet and adjustment means for balancing the head of the individual as a function of the center of mass of the head of the individual, of the helmet and of any further equipment.

Protective headgear
A protective headgear and headgear adjustment system is described. An example protective headgear may comprise a front section comprising padding configured to conform to a shape of a head of a wearer, a back section attached to the front section. The back section may comprise one or more adjustment members adjacent an opening in the back section. The protective headgear may comprise one or more pads configured to removeably attach to the adjustment member to define a horizontal adjustment and a vertical adjustment of the back section and at least partially cover the opening in the back section.
