Helmet
A helmet may include a shell defining a cavity to receive a user's head. The shell may include a shell outer surface and a receiving area recessed into the shell outer surface. A liner may be within the cavity and coupled to the shell. A facemask may be coupled to the shell. A front bumper may be coupled to the shell and the liner. The front bumper may extend from within the cavity to an exterior of the shell. The front bumper may be positioned at least partially within the receiving area of the shell.
Camouflage for garment assembly
A garment assembly such as a uniform, a military uniform and a military combat uniform is presented. The garment assembly includes a helmet or head cover being cut from a fabric having a first camouflage pattern with a first set of intermixed colored blotches thereon. The colors of the first set of intermixed colored blotches being selected from a first group of colors including an Olive 527 color, a Dark Green 528 color, a Tan 525 color, a Brown 529 color, a Bark Brown 561 color and a Dark Cream 559 color. The uniform also includes a coat being configured to fit at least a portion of a human torso and a trouser configured to fit at least a portion of human legs, the coat and trouser each being cut from a fabric having a second camouflage pattern with a second set of intermixed colored blotches thereon, the colors of the second set of intermixed colored blotches being selected from a second group of colors comprising an Olive 527 color, a Dark Green 528 color, a Light Sage 560 color, a Tan 525 color, a Brown 529 color, a Bark Brown 561 color and a Dark Cream 559 color.
Ventilated helmet preventing deposition of fog on a protective eyewear, and a method and use of the same
A ventilated helmet is provided. The helmet includes a shell defining a cavity, the shell having a front section provided with an opening to allow the wearer to see. The helmet also includes a transparent shield adapted having an inner surface and being adapted to substantially close the opening. Finally, the helmet includes a ventilation system having an evacuation subsystem adapted to create an evacuation airflow to evacuate humid air within the cavity to a surrounding environment. The ventilation system further has a pressurizing subsystem adapted to admit a pressurizing airflow within the cavity to create a high-pressure zone and a low-pressure zone within the cavity, wherein when in use, the wearer exhales air within the low-pressure zone, and wherein the high-pressure zone prevents air within the cavity from travelling from the low-pressure zone to the high-pressure zone. A method of evacuating humid air from the cavity is also provided.
Disposable Helmet
A disposable protective headgear and method of forming the same. The disposable protective headgear is configured to provide basic minimum head protection and is disposable. Preferably, disposable protective headgear is made with anti-microbial and biodegradable materials. The disposable helmet includes a side panel, a top panel, a retaining strap, and an optional sunshade. The top panel and is preferably formed with a non-woven fabric material retaining a plurality of ribbed pads in a spaced apart relation. The side panel is joined with a peripheral edge of the top panel, and is also formed of a non-woven fabric material enclosing a pad element, with the optional sunshade extending across the forward arch. The retaining strap extends under the chin of the wearer to retain the disposable helmet in place. One or more reflective stripes may be applied to the side panel and/or the top panel.
Protective Headgear
The protective headgear of the present disclosure utilizes closed cell compression molded foam combined with mesh and hook and loop closures and elastic strap that allow the helmet to have a more custom fit than other protective headgear on the market. The three-point adjustment system allows the athlete to fit the size and shape of the headgear both horizontally and vertically to their particular head.
Helmet
A helmet with two layers configured to slide with respect to each other is provided. The surface of one or both layers contains a sliding facilitator to improve slidability between the two layers. The sliding facilitator may be any one or a combination of (i) an organic polymer, a polysiloxane and a surfactant; (ii) an organic polymer and a copolymer based on a polysiloxane and an organic polymer; or (iii) a non-elastomeric cross-linked polymer obtained or obtainable by subjecting a polysiloxane and an organic polymer to a cross-linking reaction.
Helmet for impact protection
A helmet for protecting a head of a wearer, such as a hockey, lacrosse, football or other sports player. The helmet includes an outer shell and an inner padding disposed between the outer shell and the wearer's head when the helmet is worn. The inner padding includes a plurality of shock absorbers and an interconnector interconnecting the shock absorbers, each shock absorber being deformable in response to a rotational impact on the helmet such that an outer part of the shock absorber moves relative to an inner part of the shock absorber in a direction tangential to an angular movement of the outer shell due to the rotational impact.
REMOVABLE COVER FOR PROTECTIVE HELMETS
A system for covering a helmet includes a helmet and a cover. The helmet includes a shell having a first half and a second half. The cover includes a first cover half having an outer surface and an inner surface, and a second cover half having an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surfaces of the first and second cover halves are contoured for positioning against the respective first and second halves of the shell of the helmet.
Helmet
A helmet having two layers that slide with respect to each other is provided. The surface of one or both layers includes a sliding facilitator to improve slidability between the two layers. The sliding facilitator includes at least one of (i) an organic polymer, a polysiloxane and surfactant; (ii) an organic polymer and a copolymer based on a polysiloxane and an organic polymer; or (iii) a non-elastomeric cross-linked polymer obtained or obtainable by subjecting a polysiloxane and an organic polymer to a cross-linking reaction.
PROTECTIVE HELMET
A protective helmet including a visor attached to the external sides of the helmet shell. The shell includes substantially flat mount surfaces on each side which correspond with substantially flat portions on the respective ends of the visor. A fastener hole on the shell aligns with an access hole on the visor so that the two elements can be releasably fastened. The access hole provides space for a fastener to protrude out from the surface of the shell, allowing the visor to sit flush against the shell when fastened together. The helmet may include chin straps which are attached to the inner surface of the shell. The helmet may also include a catch strip on the front of the visor which protrudes from the visor such that it can prevent a cloth helmet cover (sometimes used in games such as Roller Derby) from easily sliding off the helmet.
