Neck and spine support system with enhanced user safety
A neck support system to prevent hyperflexion and hyperextension of a spinal cord of a user and enhance user safety connects to both a helmet and shoulder pads worn by the user. The system includes a housing unit having an opening and a first fastening component coupled to a second fastening component disposed on the shoulder pads, a strap retractor mechanism disposed within the housing unit, a strap having a first end coupled to the strap retractor mechanism and a second end having a third fastening component coupled to a fourth fastening component disposed on the helmet. The retractor mechanism enables the extension and retraction of the strap through the housing unit opening to permit freedom of movement of the user's neck. The retractor mechanism locks the strap in a stationary position when a force applied to the strap exceeds a predetermined magnitude of force.
Integrally formed safety helmet structure
An integrally formed safety helmet structure includes an assembly of a helmet shell or a shell body, a foam filling body enclosed in the shell body and a structure body. Geometrical array texture structures are disposed at the assembling interfaces between the shell body, the structure body and the foam filling body. In manufacturing, by means of a mold or molding module and solid foaming technique, the foam filling body is integrally formed to bond with the shell body and the structure body and the geometrical array texture structures so as to form a compact and rigid multilayer complex reinforcement structure. The complex reinforcement structure not only can enhance the structural strength of the entire safety helmet, but also has the advantages of material-saving, lightweight, high security and easy manufacturing.
HEADGEAR SAFETY APPARATUS
This invention relates generally to the field of headgear, and, more particularly, to a headgear safety apparatus in the form of a single contiguous and homogeneous pad, having an inner surface, wherein said inner surface is substantially concave; an outer surface, wherein said outer surface is substantially convex; and a one or more safety features. The single contiguous and homogeneous pad is manufactured from closed-cell, ethylene vinyl acetate foam using an injection molding process to create integrated safety features in a single, anti-microbial, safety pad that protects the wearer but does not cover the ears.

Form-Fitting Protective Headgear with Integrated Fastening System and Detachable Eye Shield
Provided is a protective headgear that includes a first shell section, second shell section, third shell section, and fourth shell section. The first shell section is configured to extend about a head of the user, and include a first central portion, a first strap and a second strap that extend from the first shell section. The first central portion includes a first protective layer and a second protective layer disposed atop the first protective layer. The second shell section is configured to extend about a jaw of the user, and include a second central portion, a third strap and a fourth strap that extend from the second shell section. The third shell section is connected to the first shell section by the first strap and the third strap, and the fourth shell section is connected to the second shell section by the second strap and the fourth strap.
HELMET CARRYING SYSTEM AND METHODS
A helmet carrying system comprising: a helmet carrying strap assembly comprising: a first spool assembly having a first cord, adapted to be attached to a helmet; a second spool assembly having a second cord, adapted to be attached to the helmet; a band assembly having a first end and a second end; wherein the first retractable cord is connected to a first fastener assembly, wherein the first fastener assembly is connected to a first ring and wherein the first ring is connected to the first end of the band assembly; and wherein the second retractable cord is connected to a second fastener assembly, wherein the second fastener assembly is connected to a second ring and wherein the second ring is connected to the second end of the band assembly is disclosed. Methods of making and using the helmet carrying system are also disclosed.
Protective sports helmet
The present invention is directed to a protective sports helmet including a helmet shell, a face guard and an internal padding assembly positioned within the helmet shell. The internal padding assembly includes a brow pad having first and second peripheral connection portions. The internal padding assembly also includes first and second jaw pads, each having an upper connection portion that mates with the first and second connection portions, respectively, of the brow pad. The internal padding assembly also includes a crown assembly with pad elements that include an internal separation layer that partitions the element into a first inflatable section and a section un-inflatable section. The connection portion of the jaw pads also mates with frontal pad elements of the crown assembly. The internal padding assembly further includes an occipital pad assembly that engages the helmet wearer's head below the occipital bone.
Helmet
A helmet may include a shell defining a cavity to receive a user's head. The shell may include a shell outer surface and a receiving area recessed into the shell outer surface. A liner may be within the cavity and coupled to the shell. A facemask may be coupled to the shell. A front bumper may be coupled to the shell and the liner. The front bumper may extend from within the cavity to an exterior of the shell. The front bumper may be positioned at least partially within the receiving area of the shell.
DEVICE TO SECURELY HOLD AND RELEASE HEADGEAR ALONG WITH OTHER PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
This invention provides a means of headgear storage and protection, along with other personal protective equipment, for use in sectors including, but not limited to: construction, mining, agriculture, utility, energy, recreational and military applications. This invention overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a device that can store multiple types of personal protective equipment at one time in a versatile and mobile form that can be used in any number of environments and can securely lock in and easily release headgear.
