TRACERS AND METHOD OF MARKING LIQUIDS
A method of marking a hydrocarbon liquid comprising adding to said hydrocarbon liquid a tracer compound, the tracer compound being a substituted biphenol ether having a core structure of Formula I, wherein the two R groups are the same or different and selected from straight chain, branched or cyclic alkyl groups, phenyl or substituted phenyl groups, benzyl or substituted benzyl groups, or the two R groups form a single substituent linked intramolecularly to both oxygen atoms, and wherein one or both of the aromatic rings of the core structure is further substituted with at least one non-planar group.

TRIAZINANE DERIVATIVES AND METHODS OF MAKING THEM
The present invention is directed to compounds represented by the formula I: wherein R.sub.1 comprises a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms; wherein R.sub.2 comprises an alkylene group, an arylene group, or a heterocyclic group; and wherein R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, and R.sub.8 are identical or different and comprise a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, or an alkylaryl group.
Marker compositions, and methods for making and using same
The present disclosure provides compositions, methods, and systems for identifying marked hydrocarbon fluids. These compositions, methods, and systems utilize a gas chromatography marker including a pyrrolidinone. The methods and systems can identify the presence or absence of the gas chromatography marker and/or the pyrrolidinone. The compositions, methods, and systems can optionally utilize a spectroscopic marker.
Substituted dibenzofurans as fuel markers

Xanthenes as fuel markers
A method for marking a petroleum hydrocarbon or a liquid biologically derived fuel; said method comprising adding to said petroleum hydrocarbon or liquid biologically derived fuel at least one compound that is a R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7, R.sup.8, R.sup.9 and R.sup.10-substituted xanthene, wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7, R.sup.8, R.sup.9 and R.sup.10 independently are hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, hydrocarbyloxy, aryl or aryloxy; wherein each compound of formula (I) is present at a level from 0.01 ppm to 20 ppm.
OIL TAGGING
The invention provides a composition which comprises an apolar medium and a tracer compound, which tracer compound comprises a hydrophobic group and an oligonucleotide. Various uses of the tracer compound are also described.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING THE GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSION REDUCTION PERFORMANCE OF BIOGENIC FUELS, HEATING MEDIUMS AND COMBUSTION MATERIALS AND/OR FOR ENRICHING AGRICULTURAL AREAS WITH CARBON-CONTAINING HUMUS
A method and a system for improving the GHG emission reduction performance of fuels, heating mediums and combustion materials and for enriching agricultural land with C-containing humus.
Process and products using a rotary compression unit
A fertilizer/soil conditioner or a fuel source material is formed by processing animal waste by-products through the use of a rotary biomass dryer system. The animal waste by-product includes without limitation manure obtained from cattle or swine; feed lot bedding, poultry litter, a digestate of animal waste by-products obtained from an anaerobic digester, municipal waste, waste meat renderings, waste meat, or a mixture thereof. The processed material may comprise a higher amount of ash and a lower amount of volatile material than the animal waste by-product. The processed material may be stored as a powder or processed into pellets, logs, pucks, briquettes or another convenient shape form.
