Method of using an inflatable member to customize an article
A method of using an inflatable member to customize an article is described. An inflatable member includes at least one adjustable portion. The inflatable member may be inserted into an article. The position of the adjustable portion can be changed according to the size of the article. The inflatable member can also be filled with fluid according to the size of the article. The inflatable member may be used to adjust the size of an article. The inflatable member may be used to apply a graphic to an article.
Fastening devices and systems and methods thereof
Fastening devices and systems and methods thereof. Fastening devices and systems and methods thereof can include a unitary or one-piece body having first and second ends configured and operative to be coupled together or to be coupled to their respective complement in another of said fastening devices. The first end can include a ring or annular portion and a projection that are sized and shaped to fit around an anchor and in an orifice, respectively, of the second end. Fastening devices and systems and methods thereof according to embodiments may be used with items, including footwear, apparel, luggage, a backpack, a bag, a purse, a boxing glove, a punching bag, football or lacrosse shoulder pads, or the like.
Signaling sole for shoes, shoe provided with said sole and kit comprising at least one of said sole
The present invention regards a sole for shoes including an upper surface, in use facing the user, a lower surface, in use facing the ground or the resting surface, and a thickness, wherein the thickness corresponds to a distance between the upper surface and the lower surface, wherein the sole includes at least one signaling means. Such at least one signaling means includes at least one vibrating motor, capable of vibrating inside such sole and/or at least one light device and the sole includes means for receiving-processing a control signal (sc) intended, in use, to receive and process such control signal (sc) and to emit in reply an activation-deactivation signal (S) towards such at least one signaling means.
Athletic or other performance sensing systems
Articles of footwear and other devices include modules, e.g., for sensing physical and/or physiological characteristics associated with use of the footwear or other devices. Such devices may include an authentication or activation system for providing power or otherwise determining the connection of a sensor in the article of footwear.
Cushioning element for sports apparel
Improved cushioning elements for sports apparel, in particular for soles for sports shoes, are described. A cushioning element for sports apparel with a first deformation element is provided. The deformation element includes a plurality of randomly arranged particles of an expanded material, wherein there are first voids within the particles and/or between the particles.
Apparatus for a shoe
An apparatus removably attachable to a shoe with laces and a sole. The apparatus comprises a front side and back side, lower and upper opposite ends and opposite sides. The front side of the apparatus has a front pocket and the back side of the apparatus has a transversal strap extending between both opposite sides of the apparatus and a longitudinal strap extending from the lower opposite end of the apparatus. The longitudinal strap has an extendible loop configured to be removably latched onto a hook device located at the upper opposite end of the apparatus. When removably attaching the apparatus onto the shoe, the longitudinal strap is weaved through the laces of the shoe and the extendible loop is extended over the hook device so as to securely attach the apparatus onto the shoe.
Article of footwear having an integrally formed auxetic structure
A sole structure that includes at least one auxetic structure and methods of making are disclosed. A sole structure includes a sole having an upper surface and a base surface. The base surface includes a ground contacting surface and a base surface. The base surface is closer to the upper surface than the ground contacting surface. An auxetic structure is integrally formed into the base surface.
Footwear Having Sensor System
A sensor system is adapted for use with an article of footwear and includes an insert member including a first layer and a second layer, a port connected to the insert and configured for communication with an electronic module, a plurality of force and/or compression sensors on the insert member, and a plurality of leads connecting the sensors to the port.
FABRIC-FRIENDLY TYPE SECONDARY BATTERY PACKAGE
The present invention relates to a battery package attached to an external substrate, which includes an electronic circuit and a power terminal electrically connected to the electronic circuit, to supply power to the electronic circuit, or to accumulate energy by collecting power. A battery package, according to an exemplary embodiment, comprises: a battery unit that has one or more secondary battery cells and leads that are connected to the secondary battery cells and exposed; a flexible encapsulation body that accommodates the battery unit therein; exposed electrodes that are exposed on the surface of the flexible encapsulation body and are electrically connected to the leads to electrically connect to the electronic circuit; and a first Velcro part mounted on the surface of the flexible encapsulation body.
Footwear with Integrated Magnets
A pair of footwear, such as boots, with integrated magnets includes a left footwear, a right footwear, a first magnet, and a second magnet. The first magnet is mounted adjacent to an opening of the left footwear. The second magnet is mounted similarly on the right footwear. When the left footwear and the right footwear is worn, the first magnet and the second magnet are positioned in an area above the inner arch of the left foot and the right foot. When not worn, the first magnet is attached to the second magnet so that a shaft portion of the left footwear and the right footwear remain in an upright position. The upright position is beneficial for storing footwear and the longevity of the footwear.
