Synergistic mixture
A synergistic mixture comprising from 1 to 99.9% by weight of compounds having structural elements (I) ##STR00001##
in which the free valencies on the oxygen atom and on the nitrogen atom may be combined to form a five-, six- or seven-membered ring and the benzene ring may also bear substituents at one or more of the free positions, and from 0.1 to 99% by weight of sulfur-containing organic compounds with antioxidant action. This synergistic mixture is suitable as a stabilizer for stabilizing inanimate organic material, especially mineral oil products and fuels, against the action of light, oxygen and heat.
COATING COMPOSITION FOR FORMING A LUBRICATING LAYER THAT EXHIBITS IMPROVED SLIDING PROPERTY TO FLUID SUBSTANCES
A coating composition for forming a lubricating layer (3) on the surface of a base material (1) formed in a predetermined shape so as to exhibit improved sliding property to fluid substances, the coating composition containing, as a dispersion medium, a liquid (5) that is a component constituting the lubricating layer (3), and the dispersion medium containing solid particles (7) dispersed therein as a component constituting the lubricating layer (3). The lubricating layer (3) formed by using the coating composition exhibits more improved sliding property to fluid substances. The coating composition, therefore, can be favorably used for forming the lubricating layer (3) on the inner surfaces of the packing materials such as containers and lids.
HYDROXY FUNCTIONALIZED ASHLESS ADDITIVE
The disclosed technology relates to hydroxy functionalized ashless additives useful in engine oil compositions due to their ability to reduce deposits, particularly deposits seen in turbocharged direct injection (TDI) engines. The described additives include ashless saturated compounds having a long chain hydrocarbyl polymer terminated by a hydroxyl group. The disclosed technology also relates to lubricant compositions containing the described additives, processes of making the described additives, and methods of using the described additives.
Engine Lubricants Containing a Polyether
A sump-lubricated, spark-ignited engine is lubricated by supplying thereto a lubricant which comprises (a) an oil of lubricating viscosity; (b) a polyether; and (c) a metal-containing detergent. The lubricant has a total phosphorus content of less than 0.075 percent by weight.
HEAVY, MEDIUM, AND LIGHT PLUNGER GREASE FOR HYDRAULIC PUMPS
A lubrication product used in the packings and plungers of hydraulic pumps used in fracking and other oilfield applications. The composition including: 1) diluent oil, comprising of naphthenic, paraffinic, or synthetic origin ranging from 60 SUS to 3000 SUS at 100 F.; 2) olefin co-polymers, either high propylene or high ethylene, or combinations thereof; 3) polybutene, ranging in molecular weights from 100-6000 4) high molecular weight poly-ISO-Butylene, ranging from 500,000 to 3,000,000; 5) PIBSA dispersant; 6) performance additives, containing anti-wear and extreme pressure properties. Most preferable is a sulfur/phosphorus gear oil package.

HIGH EFFICIENCY ENGINE OIL COMPOSITIONS
The present application pertains to a lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine that advantageously which exhibits improved fuel economy. The composition may comprise a major amount of oil of lubricating viscosity, an alkaline earth metal sulfonate detergent, and a comb-shaped polymethacrylate viscosity modifier. The compositions may be an 0W-8, an 0W-12, an 0W-16, or an 0W-20 SAE viscosity grade and be particularly useful for a hybrid vehicle.
