A Transducer for Producing Vibrational Movement
This specification describes a transducer configured to convert electrical signals into vibrational movement. The transducer comprises an axially-magnetised reciprocating magnet, wherein the axially-magnetised reciprocating magnet comprises an aperture such that the reciprocating magnet has an inner boundary and an outer boundary.
The transducer further comprises at least two pairs of concentrically positioned electromagnetic solenoids, the at least two pairs of concentrically positioned electromagnetic solenoids being configured to drive the reciprocating magnet to reciprocate in a volume above and below the reciprocating magnet. The first solenoid of each of the pairs of concentrically positioned electromagnetic solenoids is positioned to influence the reciprocating magnet at the inner boundary more than at the outer boundary, and a second solenoid of each of the pairs of concentrically positioned electromagnetic solenoids is positioned to influence the reciprocating magnet at the outer boundary more than at the inner boundary. The reciprocating magnet is suspended in the mid-point of its axial travel at a null position using either mechanical springs or magnetic springs.
Thermal Foot Pad Assembly
A thermal foot pad assembly includes a foot pad that is insertable into an article of footwear and the foot pad is positioned beneath a user's foot when the user wears the article of footwear. A plurality of pouches is each integrated into the foot pad and each of the plurality of pouches is filled with a thermally conductive gel to cool the user's foot when the user steps on the plurality of pouches. A toe pad is attached to the foot pad and the toe pad is strategically positioned on the foot pad. The toe pad is positioned beneath the user's toes when the user wears the article of footwear. Furthermore, the toe pad is comprised of a thermally conductive material to absorb heat from the user's toes thereby cooling the user's toes.
CLUBFOOT ORTHOTIC
Devices and methods for treating clubfoot are disclosed.

APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR EXTERNAL ORTHOPEDIC DEVICES
A stabilization device can determine a condition of a human foot and can include a body, a pad, and a sensor. The body can be coupleable to a human foot. The pad can be coupleable to a distal portion of the body, and the pad can be configured to interface with a walking surface. The sensor can be securable to one of the body and the pad and the sensor can be configured to produce a sensor signal as a function of a sensed condition of the stabilization device.
Protection devices for use in shoes or other products
A variety of devices for protecting a user's foot from injury are disclosed. In one embodiment, the device may be a metatarsal protection device, which may include a first layer of material having top and bottom surfaces, with at least one of such surfaces including a series of cones or a pattern of hexagons thereon. The metatarsal protection device may also include a second relatively rigid layer of material overlying the first layer, and the first layer may be shaped to conform to the metatarsal region of the user's foot, such that the device is configured to protect the metatarsal region against injury. Other configurations and variations of a metatarsal protection device are also disclosed, as are other uses for the principles of the invention(s) disclosed herein (e.g., protection devices for other areas of the foot, etc.).

DEVICE AND METHODS FOR TUNING A SKELETAL MUSCLE
A method of differentially tuning a lower limb muscle in a human in need thereof is provided. The method includes placement of at least two calibrated, differential disturbances or protuberances under the human's feet thereby tuning a lower limb muscle.
Adaptive compression therapy systems and methods
Systems, devices and methods for providing active and/or passive compression therapy to a body part can include a compression device worn over a compression stocking. The compression device can have a pulley based drive train that is driven by a motor to tighten and loosen compression elements, such as compression straps, in a precise, rapid, and balanced manner. Sensors can be used in the compression device and/or compression stockings to provide feedback to modulate the compression treatment parameters.
