FOREIGN SUBSTANCE REMOVING LUBRICANT COMPOSITION, FOREIGN SUBSTANCE REMOVING LUBRICANT COMPOSITION APPLIED MEMBER, AND METHOD FOR USING FOREIGN SUBSTANCE REMOVING LUBRICANT COMPOSITION
The object of the present invention is to provide a foreign substance removing lubricant composition having high foreign substance removing effects and being capable of improving the lubricating properties as compared to conventional lubricant compositions, a foreign substance removing lubricant composition applied member, and a method for using the foreign substance removing lubricant composition. The foreign substance removing lubricant composition of the present invention comprises a perfluoroalkyl group containing compound (S) having a perfluoroalkyl group or a fluoropolyether containing compound. As a result, foreign substance removing effects can be enhanced, and the lubricating properties can be improved as compared to the conventional lubricant compositions.
COMPOSITION FOR SOLID LUBRICATING COATING, THREADED CONNECTION FOR PIPE OR TUBE INCLUDING THE SOLID LUBRICATING COATING FORMED FROM THE COMPOSITION, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE THREADED CONNECTION
This invention provides a threaded connection for pipe or tube that has a non-sticky surface and that suppresses the occurrence of rust and exhibits excellent galling resistance and airtightness even in an extremely low temperature environment without using compound grease, a method of producing the same, and a composition for forming a solid lubricating coating on the threaded connection. A solid lubricating coating (24) formed from a composition containing a binder, a fluorine addition agent, a solid lubricant and a rust proof addition agent is coated as a topmost surface treatment coating on a contact surface of at least one of a pin and a box. Even when exposed to an extremely low temperature environment, the solid lubricating coating (24) can maintain adhesiveness and exhibit a lubricating function, can suppress the occurrence of galling of a threaded connection, and can also secure airtightness after fastening.

Lubricant, electric contact, connector terminal, and wire harness
Provided are a lubricant capable of dispersing particles containing a fluororesin on the surface of a subject and of making the particles adhere to the subject surface without requiring use of a fluorine oil as a base oil; an electric contact having the lubricant on the surface thereof; and a connector terminal and a wire harness having the electric contact. The lubricant contains a base oil and resin particles containing a trifluoroethylene resin, and the content of the resin particles in the lubricant is 10% by mass or more in relation to the mass of the base oil. An electric contact includes a substrate composed of a metal material electrically contacting another conductive member; and a layer of the lubricant arranged on the surface of the substrate. In addition, the connector terminal includes the electric contact at a location of electric contact with a counterpart connector terminal.
Applicator with hydrophobic coating transferable to contacting surface
A coating composition for imparting a hydrophobic film on a target surface is provided that includes an oil of a silicone oil or a fluoropolymer oil or a combination thereof, a resin, and a dry lubricant. A solvent is present to form a solution of the oil and resin. A coating is imparted to an applicator that in turn can transfer the coating as a hydrophobic film. The coating composition is stable and able to impart hydrophobic film even after storage for several weeks at elevated temperature. The coating composition does so through the exclusion of synthetic waxes especially including silicone waxes. A kit is also provided that includes a wiper blade having the above coating composition applied along with instructions for the securement of the wiper blade to a vehicle to impart the hydrophobic film to a vehicle windshield contacted by the wiper blade.
