Upper for an article of footwear with at least one strand for lasting
The present disclosure provides a knitted component, the knitted component with a knit element that forms at least a portion of an upper for an article of footwear and defines an interior void for receiving a foot. A lower perimeter edge of the knit element may extend between a lateral side and a medial side of the upper. At least one strand of the knitted component may extend through the lower perimeter edge on opposite sides of the knitted component so as to extend between the lateral side and the medial side of the upper. The knitted component may be formed on a knitting machine, and the at least one strand may be configured to be tensioned to tighten the upper around a last.
Shoe and method of manufacturing shoe
A shoe includes: an upper member containing a knit fabric, a knit-like fabric, and/or a woven fabric as a primary member and forming a part of a medial side surface, a part of a lateral side surface, and a part of a back surface; an outsole member made of thermoplastic resin and forming a bottom portion including a contact surface, and a peripheral portion attached at least partially to respective lower parts of the medial and lateral side surfaces and a lower part of the back surface and connected to the bottom portion; and a sock liner inserted in interior space defined by the upper member and the outsole member. The upper member defines an opening at which at least a part of the lateral side surface is cut. The outsole member includes a window portion covering the opening. The window portion is made of a semi-transparent material that makes at least a part of a lateral side surface of the sock liner in the interior space visible through the window portion covering the opening.

Footwear uppers and other textile components including reinforced and abutting edge joint seams
Textile Components, such as upper members for articles of footwear, include: (a) a first portion having a first edge, wherein the first edge includes a first portion of material engaged with a first seam support material via a first thermoplastic material; (b) a second portion having a second edge, wherein the second edge includes a second portion of material engaged with a second seam support material via a second thermoplastic material; and (c) structure to engage the first and second edges in an abutting edge joint (such as a zig-zag stitch). The resulting textile components may be lightweight and breathable (e.g., due to use of lightweight upper fabric), having a comfortable fit (e.g., due to the abutting edge joint), while still providing a strong, stable, and durable construction (e.g., due to the presence of the seam support member(s)).

Footwear manufacturing with a flat pattern upper
An article of footwear having an upper portion and a footbed portion that may be aligned with apertures proximate specified edges or locations. The footbed portion includes a concave edge extending between the footbed toe end and the footbed heel end along the footbed medial side and a plurality of forming apertures along the medial side. The upper portion also includes a plurality of forming apertures extending along the medial side.

SHOE HAVING A PRINTED DESIGN AND PRINTING PROCESS FOR SHOES
The invention provides a method of assembling a shoe including a printed design for providing flat material having a first designated area and a second designated area, printing a first portion of the design on the first designated area and printing a second portion of the design on the second designated area, separating the designated areas into individual panels and assembling each panel, so that the first portion of the design joins the second portion of the design when each panel is arranged side by side to form an uninterrupted and complete design.
