Regenerative vapor energy recovery system and method
Regenerative vapor energy recovery system and method for use with an ethanol plant. Regenerative vapors are partially condensed in a regenerative precondenser using a warm water stream. The warm water stream is fed to the regenerative precondenser and the partially condensed regenerative vapor stream is sent back to the ethanol plant where the stream is fully condensed using an existing condenser. The ethanol plant is thus operated at greater energy efficiency with lower operating costs than would be achieved with conventional systems.

PURIFICATION METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL FEEDSTOCK
The present disclosure is related to an apparatus and method for purification of biological feedstock, such as reducing or removing nitrogen containing compounds therein. The method can include subjecting the feedstock to a first separation step for obtaining a first fraction containing free fatty acids and nitrogen containing compounds, and collecting the residue containing acylglycerols. The first fraction is reacted with glycerol to obtain acylglycerols from the free fatty acid therein. This fraction is subjected to a second separation step for obtaining a second fraction containing nitrogen containing compounds, which is discharged as waste-product. The remains from the second separation contain formed acylglycerols and are collected.
UPGRADING BIO-WASTE IN FCC
A method may include: providing bio waste stream wherein the bio waste stream comprises at least one bio waste selected from the group consisting of palm oil mill effluent, soapstock, and combinations thereof; introducing the bio waste effluent stream into a fluidized catalytic cracking unit; contacting the bio waste with a catalyst in the fluidized catalytic cacking unit; and cracking at least a portion of the bio waste stream to form cracked products that comprise a cracked product stream.
INTEGRATED BIOREFINERY SYSTEM AND METHOD
The inventive biorefinery system and method accepts municipal solid waste, sewage sludges, and/or ag-wastes and processes it through three primary conversion unit operations to produce a variety of value-added products. In a preferred embodiment, the three primary conversion units are gasification, thermal depolymerization or torrefaction/pyrolysis, and biotreatment.
SYSTEM TO REUSE FATS, OILS AND GREASE
A method of forming a yellow grease is provided. The method includes delivering a FOG lipid extraction agent into a processing tank. The method further includes preheating a waste grease to a temperature of between 35° C. and 95° C. The method further includes mixing the preheated waste grease with the FOG lipid extraction agent in the processing tank to form the yellow grease.
