R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.4 to C.sub.50 alkyl or aryl; and n.sub.1 is an integer from 2 to 10. This invention also relates to a wax composition comprising: a) one or more fatty acid monoester or diester compounds having the formula of:

##STR00002##

and b) one or more hydroxylated fatty acid diester compounds having the formula of

##STR00003##

In these formulae, R is H or COR.sub.1; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.4 to C.sub.50 alkyl or aryl; n.sub.2 is an integer from 2 to 24; m is an integer from 2 to 12; and .(OH).sub.m represents 2 to 12 hydroxyl groups substituting for 2 to 12 hydrogen atoms in the alkyl groups R.sub.1 and/or R.sub.2. Uses of the compositions are also disclosed.

CANDLE WITH EMBEDDED ITEM AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING AND SELLING SAME
20190120484 · 2019-04-25 ·

A candle with an embedded item and methods for manufacturing same are disclosed. A method for manufacturing a candle having an embedded item can include providing a first set of items of a first value and a second set of items of a second value different from the first value, combining the two sets to create a third set, and distributing the items of the third set among a set of candles, one item per candle, where the presence, nature, or value of the item within the candle is obscured. The method can further include selling the candles for a first price, wherein, the presence of the embedded item, the nature of the embedded item, the value of the embedded item, or the value of the embedded item relative to the first price is not known to the purchaser. The embedded item can comprise an object redeemable for a prize.

DECORATIVE CANDLE HOLDER WITH DYNAMIC ILLUMINATED IMAGERY
20190085263 · 2019-03-21 ·

A candle holder comprises a housing for securing a candle; the housing including first thermochromic material formed on the housing and second thermochromic material formed on the thermochromic material. The first thermochromic material changes a perceivable state of the first thermochromic material when an ambient temperature of first thermochromic material is above a first pre-determined activation temperature, the perceivable state of the first thermochromic material being visually perceivable or non-visually perceivable. The second thermochromic material changes a perceivable state of the second thermochromic material when an ambient temperature of second thermochromic material is above a second pre-determined activation temperature, the perceivable state of the second thermochromic material being visually perceivable or non-visually perceivable. The perceivable state of the first thermochromic material is different from the perceivable state of the second thermochromic material.
