Devices, systems and methods of making and using chlorine dioxide based formulation with improved stability
Disclosed are devices, systems, and methods for producing broad spectrum disinfectants, sanitizers, cleaner and deodorizers using chlorine dioxide compositions, and more particularly, to methods for producing chlorine dioxide compositions having improved long term stability by the proper choice of pH and through the careful choice of other product formula ingredients.
Biodegradable Graft Polymers
A novel graft polymer can include a block copolymer backbone (A) as a graft base having polymeric sidechains (B) grafted thereon. The polymeric sidechains (B) are obtainable by polymerization of at least one vinyl ester monomer (B1) and optionally N-vinylpyrrolidone as optional further monomer (B2). For example, the block copolymer backbone (A) is a triblock copolymer of polyethylene oxide (PEG) and polypropylene oxide (PPG). Also included is a process for obtaining such a graft polymer, the process is preferably carried out by free-radical polymerization.
Chitosan Derivatives As Soil Release Agents
The invention aims to improve the cleaning performance of washing agents when washing textiles. This was substantially achieved by the use of N-carboxy-sulfoalkylated or N-sulfoalkylated chitosan.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADDITION OF FUEL ADDITIVES TO CONTROL TURBINE CORROSION
A gas turbine engine system includes a compressor, gas turbine, and combustor including a plurality of late lean fuel injectors supplied with secondary fuel to its interior. The gas turbine engine system includes a wash system in communication with the late lean fuel injectors. The wash system includes a water source; water pump; anti-corrosion agent fluid source with an anti-corrosion agent including a polyamine corrosion inhibitor; anti-corrosion agent supply piping in fluid communication with the anti-corrosion agent fluid source; mixing chamber receiving water and anti-corrosion agent to produce an anti-corrosion mixture in fluid communication with the mixing chamber and the plurality of late lean fuel injectors. Fluid from the mixing chamber including the water, the anti-corrosion agent fluid source, or a mixture thereof is injected, while the gas turbine engine is off-line, into the combustor at at least one of the plurality of late lean fuel injectors.
CLEANING COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF STAINS FROM ROOF SHINGLES
A composition is provided containing a pH adjuster, a surfactant, and a solvent, wherein the composition has the ability to solubilize MAAs that creates dark streaks on roof shingles. The method of making the composition involves mixing a pH adjuster and a surfactant with water. A method of using is provided in which additional water is added to the composition. Once the composition is diluted and the desired alkalinity is reached, the composition is sprayed on a roof through a device having a spray/stream end. The output from the spray/stream end of the device transforms secreted MAA present on the roof shingles into an orange color upon contact. The resulting orange residue is then rinsed off from the shingles to provide a new looking roof.
Alkaline molybdenum cation and phosphonate-containing cleaning composition
The present invention is directed towards an aqueous alkaline cleaner composition comprising: an iron cation, a molybdenum cation, a cobalt cation, or combinations thereof; and an alkaline component; wherein the pH of the aqueous alkaline composition is at least 10, and the aqueous alkaline composition includes no more than 50 ppm of phosphate. Also disclosed are treatment systems comprising an aqueous alkaline composition for treating at least a portion of a substrate, and a pretreatment composition for treating at least a portion of a substrate. Also disclosed are substrates treated according to the disclosed treatment systems.
Corrosion protection for glassware in a dishwasher
A gel which is based on polysaccharide and which includes glass protection additives selected from zinc salts, polyvinyl amide, polyvinyl amine, or combinations thereof. The invention additionally relates to the use of the gel for the corrosion protection of glassware during cleaning and/or rinsing processes, in particular in a dishwasher, and to a method for preventing the corrosion of glassware during cleaning and/or rinsing processes, in particular in a dishwasher.
Polyethyleneimine compounds containing N-halamine and derivatives thereof
This invention relates to odor control molecules comprised of polyethyleneimine compounds containing N-halamine and derivatives thereof.
Peroxide-based multi-purpose cleaning, degreasing, sanitizing, and disinfecting solutions and methods for preparing the same
A cleaning solution including: a primary solvent; a secondary solvent, wherein the secondary solvent is at least partially miscible with the primary solvent; an oxidizing agent, wherein the oxidizing agent includes a peroxide; a chelating agent, wherein the chelating agent includes the structure of formula I: ##STR00001##
