Cleaning compositions that include a nuclease enzyme and tannins. Methods of making and using such cleaning compositions. Use of tannins.
CLEANING COMPOSITIONS HAVING AN ENZYME SYSTEM
Cleaning compositions having an enzyme system, where the enzyme system includes a nuclease enzyme, an extracellular-polymer-degrading enzyme, and a cleaning adjunct. Methods of making and using such cleaning compositions. Use of an extracellular-polymer-degrading enzyme.
Method of making an opacified liquid detergent composition using a divalent cation solution
A method of making an opacified liquid detergent composition is disclosed. The method includes the steps of combining at least one anionic surfactant, a fatty acid, and water to form a mixture having a transparent optical appearance, then adding divalent cations to the mixture, and opacifying the mixture as the divalent cations interact with the fatty acid to form the opacified liquid detergent composition in the absence of a microplastic opacifier. The opacified liquid detergent composition having a turbidity value of greater than about 250 turbidity units (NTUs) measured utilizing a turbidity meter at about 24° C.
BACKPACK PERSONAL DEFENSE MATERIAL DISPENSER
A backpack material dispenser that includes a pumpless pressure tank for storing and discharging a material under pressure contained in the pressure tank and a hose and a shut off valve connected to an output opening of the pressure tank for allowing flow of the material from the pressure tank under pressure and through a nozzle communicating with a discharge end of the hose. A discharge valve communicates with the nozzle proximate the hose for allowing controlled discharge of the material from the nozzle. A backpack assembly mounts the pressure tank for being carried by a user. A charging tank contains a gas under pressure to charge the pressure tank to a predetermined pressure, and a releasable connector of the charging tank attaches to a complementary connector of the pressure tank for charging the pressure tank with the gas under pressure to the suitable pressure tank pressure.
COATINGS FOR DAG PREVENTION
Techniques are disclosed for preventing formation of dags on cattle and other commercially produced animals. The surface of the animal, such as the skin, hide, hair, wool or other covering of the animal, is treated with a low-energy, non-sticking hydrophobic coating. The coating may be made from long-chain hydrocarbons, such as stearates, typically with a terminal metal carboxylate group comprising a variety of low-valence metals, e.g., mono or divalent metals, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and zinc. The coating makes it difficult for polar substances, such as water, mud, dirt, waste, soil, manure and feed, collectively termed dag, to adhere to the surface of the animal.
COMPOSITION FOR AN ORGANIC CLEANING PRODUCT
A natural cleaning product which does not contain any harsh chemicals or toxins. Specifically, the cleaning product is based on borax and yucca plant products. A composition for an organic cleaning product comprises distilled water; borax; distilled white vinegar; yucca root soap; and optionally, lavender essential oil, peppermint essential oil; and eucalyptus. Also disclosed is a process for the production of yucca root soap which is used in producing the organic cleaning product of the invention.
Cleansing composition containing oligodynamic metal and efficacy enhancing agent
In one aspect is disclosed a cleansing composition comprising: (i) a surfactant; (ii) an oligodynamic metal or ions thereof; (iii) a chelating agent; and, a polymer having a group comprising a site having one or more lone pair of electrons wherein, said surfactant is soap. The polymer having a group comprising a site having one or more lone pair of electrons enhances the antimicrobial efficacy of the oligodynamic metal.
IRON SOAP, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING IRON SOAP
An iron soap having a content A (%) of free fatty acid being 0.01≦A≦8.0, a content B (%) of water soluble salt being 0.01≦B≦0.5, and a granularity summary value C indicated in Formula (1) being 0.1≦C≦5.0, wherein the iron soap is a salt of a straight-chain saturated fatty acid having from 12 to 22 carbons and an iron.
Granularity summary value C=(D90−D10)/D50(where 1.0≦D50≦40.0) Formula (1)
D10: 10% cumulative diameter (μm) of fatty acid metal salt particles on a volumetric basis
D50: 50% cumulative diameter (μm) of fatty acid metal salt particles on a volumetric basis
D90: 90% cumulative diameter (μm) of fatty acid metal salt particles on a volumetric basis
Skin Cleansing System and Method for Visual Indication of an Efficacious Cleansing Duration
A skin cleansing system and method for visual indication of an efficacious cleansing duration provides a cleaning composition that works to kill germs; and then visually indicate, through color, when a sufficient cleaning duration, of approximately 20 seconds, of cleansing has occurred. The cleaning composition comprises a liquid soap and a colored moisturizer that remain separated in a dispenser, but combine simultaneously when applied to the skin for washing with water. The soap requires a cleaning duration of about 20 seconds to kill the germs. The soap also requires the same cleaning duration of 20 seconds to dissolve the nonpolar oils in the colored moisturizer. Thus, when the colored moisturizer washes away, this is an indication that the germs have also washed away. The dissolving action is a result of the nonpolar tail of the soap engaging and destroying, both the germs and the nonpolar oils in the colored moisturizer.
APPARATUS, PROCESS, AND EXTRUSION SCREW FOR PRODUCING SYNDET SOAPS
The present disclosure is related to apparatuses, processes, and extrusion screws directed to process solid detergent compositions in shapes like billets, bars, tablets, noodles, and similar shapes produced from extruded synthetic detergents, soaps, and combinations thereof. The present disclosure describes an extrusion screw for processing synthetic detergents, soaps, and combinations thereof. The extrusion screw comprises a feed section, a metering section, and a compression section. Said compression section has a proximal channel depth adjacent to the feed section, and a distal channel depth adjacent to the metering section, and a compression ratio that may be between 2.2, and 4.1, for example, between 2.2, and 2.6. The extrusion screw may have a length to diameter ratio (L/D) that may be between 4.0, and 6.0. The present disclosure also describes an apparatus for processing synthetic detergents, soaps, and combinations thereof. The apparatus comprises a barrel and said extrusion screw. The present disclosure also describes a process for extruding solid synthetic detergents, soaps, and combinations thereof.
