Transparent extruded toilet soap
The present invention relates to extruded soap bars having improved transparency. Specifically, by balancing the amounts of C.sub.16 (palmitic acid) and C.sub.18 (stearic acid) fatty acids to have a ratio in the final bar of 1, substantially improved transparency is unexpectedly obtained.
NATURAL LAUNDRY SOAPS
A series of natural soaps, both liquid and solid, and methods of making thereof, which have a synergistic effect when formulated with anti-redeposition ingredients in laundry applications both in synthetic and natural textiles and fabrics. The fatty acids and/or natural oils based series of natural soaps include both sodium and potassium soap products that interact synergistically with, preferably, known, natural anti-redeposition agents and alkaline builders creating highly effective, natural solid (bar or powdered) and liquid laundry cleaning products. Solid forms soaps are dried to an acceptable amount of moisture content for milling. Further blending is then performed with various natural anti-redeposition agents or natural products which exhibit said characteristics and/or alkaline builders. The solid forms may be formed into single dose tablets. Effervescent additives may further be included.
OVERBASED CALCIUM CARBOLXYLATES AND SULFONATES AND PROCESS FOR MAKING SAME
A process comprising at least the steps of: (a) preparing a first mixture comprising at least one non-polar organic solvent, at least one first polar organic solvent and a catalyst, (b) preparing a second mixture comprising at least one of: C7 to C25 carboxylic acids, optionally alkyl benzene sulfonic acids and C2 to C6 carboxylic acids, (c) adding an amount of a calcium base to the first mixture to obtain a third mixture, (d) adding the second mixture of acids of step (b) to the third mixture of step (c) to obtain a fourth mixture; and carbonating the fourth mixture of step (d) by adding therein a given amount of an organic carbonate, wherein in step (c), the added amount of the calcium base allows neutralization of the carboxylic acids in step (d) and forms water as a neutralization product. The process is free of carbon dioxide injection for carbonation.
Cleaning bar
A cleaning bar is provided, comprising: a cleaning surfactant; water; and a crosslinked cellulose ether containing 0.1 to 0.6 wt %, based on weight of the crosslinked cellulose ether, of polyether groups; wherein the cleaning bar is a solid.
CLEANING AGENT FOR TONERS, METHOD FOR PRODUCING CLEANING AGENT FOR TONERS, AND TONER COMPOSITION
To provide a cleaning agent for toners, which is configured to impart to toners appropriate flowability that enables exertion of excellent cleanability and which is configured to suppress wear of the cleaning blade even in a high temperature and high humidity environment. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing the cleaning agent for toners, and a toner composition comprising the cleaning agent for toners and toner base particles. The cleaning agent for toners is a fatty acid divalent metal salt obtained by double decomposition between a fatty acid-alkali compound salt containing 8 to 24 carbon atoms and a divalent metal salt, wherein the fatty acid divalent metal salt has a water activity value A of from 0.65 to 0.85 at 25 C. and a number average value B of area envelopment degrees of from 0.910 to 0.990.
Liquid antiadhesive composition for unvulcanized rubber, water-diluted liquid antiadhesive composition solution for unvulcanized rubber, and unvulcanized rubber
The disclosure provides a liquid antiadhesive composition for unvulcanized rubber having excellent anti-adhesion properties and an excellent balance between liquid transferability and stability. The liquid antiadhesive composition for unvulcanized rubber of the disclosure includes: components (A) to (D) below; and water, in which a mass ratio (A)/(D) of the following component (A) to the following component (D) is 5 to 500. (A): Water-soluble polymer other than component (D) (B): Metal soap (C): Surfactant (D): One or more kinds of compounds selected from water-soluble polymers in which thixotropic index (2 rpm/20 rpm) of 2 mass % aqueous solution at 20 C. is 4.0 or more.
Soap bar
The present invention relates to an extruded soap bar composition. It more particularly relates to a soap bar composition which comprises specified type of sodium alumino silicate gel to produce soap bars with high water content that are not only easy to extrude but have the desired hardness.
