CLEANING COMPOSITIONS FOR USE WITH CALCITE-BASED STONE
20180002646 · 2018-01-04 ·

A composition for cleaning hard surfaces includes from 3 to 20 wt-% dicarboxylic acid; from 3 to 25 wt-% surfactant; from 0 to 20 wt-% solvent; and water, and has a pH from 9 to 12.5. A ready-to-use solution of the composition includes from 0.1 to 5 wt-% dicarboxylic acid; from 0.1 to 5 wt-% surfactant; from 0 to 5 wt-% solvent; and water, and has a pH from 9 to 12.5. The composition is safe for use with calcite stone surfaces. A method of cleaning calcite stone surfaces comprises a use solution of the composition to the calcite stone surface, and rinsing, wiping, or scrubbing the surface. Another method of cleaning calcite stone surfaces comprises preparing a use solution by diluting the composition with water, applying the use solution to the calcite stone surface, and rinsing, wiping, or scrubbing the surface.

DRYING-AID FOR LAUNDRY

Provided are drying aid compositions, which comprise an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide-ethylene oxide (EO/PO/EO) triblock copolymer and an aminosilicone. The compositions can be added to the aqueous bath during the laundry process to reduce the drying time of a textile. Also provided is a process for laundering a textile, which comprises contacting the textile with an aqueous bath containing a drying aid composition comprising an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide-ethylene oxide (EO/PO/EO) triblock copolymer and an aminosilicone.

Development of extensional viscosity for reduced atomization for diluted concentrate sprayer applications

A non-Newtonian concentrate composition includes a sensitizer or irritant, a surfactant, an anti-mist component and optionally a stability component. Example sensitizers and irritants include, but are not limited to, acids, quaternary compounds, and amines, and example anti-mist components include, but are not limited to, polyethylene oxide and polyacrylamide.

Itaconate surfactants

The invention provides an itaconate surfactant having the following formula (I) ##STR00001##
in which R.sup.1 is selected from aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups having 4 to 22 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 is selected from hydrogen and aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n is an integer ranging from 8 to 20. The surfactants of the invention are benign to the skin and to the environment yet can offer a performance that is comparable to that of “traditional” anionic and anionic/nonionic surfactant systems, especially on difficult-to-remove stains.

Product comprising polysaccharide derivatives

The disclosure relates to products including a polysaccharide derivative wherein the polysaccharide derivative includes a polysaccharide substituted with at least one of: a) at least one sulfate group; b) at least one sulfonate group; c) at least one thiosulfate group; or d) a combination thereof; wherein the polysaccharide is poly alpha-1,3-glucan, poly alpha-1,6-glucan, poly alpha-1,3-1,6-glucan, or a mixture thereof; and the polysaccharide derivative has a degree of substitution of about 0.001 to about 3. The products can be useful as anti-deposition and/or anti-graying agents in laundry detergents, and in home care applications.

Benefit agent containing delivery particle

Benefit agent containing delivery particles that can be supplied as slurries, compositions comprising such particles, and processes for making and using such particles and compositions.

METHOD OF ELIMINATING ODOR

A method of eliminating odor by utilizing a tablet that is formed from sodium carbonate, sodium percarbonate, polyethylene glycol, and linear alkylbenzene sulfonate. The tablet is dissolved within water in order to form a scent neutralizing solution and then applied to an individual's clothing to eliminate the scent of the individual for hunting purposes.

Detergent composition for treating fabrics with insecticides
20180010078 · 2018-01-11 ·

A detergent composition including permethrin is disclosed that is particularly adapted to launder clothing or other personal fabrics. Laundering clothing with composition provides effective insect repellant properties to the clothing for at least 14 days. The detergent composition is especially useful for control of mosquitoes and other insects, thereby reducing the incidence of malaria, zika virus, and other diseases.

ENZYME FOR EASY-CLEANING OF STAINS

A liquid bioactive composition is provided that includes an enzyme with enzymatic activity toward a component of a biological stain. Also provided is a process for facilitating the removal of a biological stain is provided wherein the enzyme in the liquid bioactive coating material is capable of enzymatically degrading of one or more components of the biological stain to facilitate biological stain removal from a substrate.

Use of a Composition Consisting of Ammonia and an Alkanol for Avoiding Pattern Collapse When Treating Patterned Materials with Line-Space Dimensions of 50 NM or Below

Described herein is a method of using a composition including 0.1 to 3% by weight ammonia and a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkanol. The method includes using the composition for anti-pattern collapse treatment of a substrate including patterned material layers having line-space dimensions with a line width of 50 nm or less, aspect ratios of greater than or equal to 4, or a combination thereof.
