The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for sampling and/or controlling the productivity of a bioreactor. The system and methods can include a vessel capable of providing an environment suitable for containing whole broth that can produce the bioproduct, wherein the whole broth contains media and at least one undissolved species, an automated sampling system, a first analytical instrument, and a control system.

Method and apparatus for cell dispensing and storage
10835896 · 2020-11-17 · ·

Provided are a cell dispensing and storing apparatus and a method of the same. The method includes: moving a freezing container with a test tube in it and a temporary storage bottle containing sample cells into a dispensing area. Connect the temporary storage bottle with an injecting assembly. A dispensing clamp moves the test tube from the freezing container to a tube rack on a rotating platform. A rotating clamp removes a tube cover from the test tube. An injecting nozzle extracts the sample cells from the temporary storage bottle and dispenses the sample cells into the test tube. The rotating clamp puts the tube cover back on the test tube. The dispensing clamp moves the test tube back into the freezing container. A freezing clamp moves the freezing container into a freezer.

FULLY AUTOMATED CHEMILUMINESCENCE IMMUNOASSAY ANALYZER

A fully automated chemilumiescence immunoassay analyzer, including a sample and reagent receiving device for receiving a sample and a reagent, a dispensing device for aspirating and discharging the sample and the reagent, a mixing device for mixing the sample and the reagent in a reaction vessel, an incubation and luminescence detection device for incubation and luminescence detection, a magnetic separation cleaning device for separation cleaning an analyte and impurities in the reaction vessel, a reaction vessel grasping device for transferring the reaction vessel, and a liquid path device. The fully automated chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer has a simple structure and is convenient to operate, and also reduce the overall size such that the footprint thereof is small and the production cost is reduced, so that the analyzer is easy to achieve miniaturization, and is convenient for an operator to use.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROMOTING PLANT GROWTH

Described herein are systems, methods and kits for culturing and applying fresh microbial inoculants in the field. The system, methods and kits are easy to use, reliable, sealed to prevent contamination, and can be stored on location, for use on demand by those unskilled in the microbiological arts. Particular embodiments described herein may be used to increase agricultural crop yields.

Probe Assembly and Method for Securing and Inserting a Probe

A probe assembly for inserting a probe into a vessel or tubing includes a probe sheath having a proximal end and a distal end and being configured for operative coupling to a vessel or tubing, the probe sheath being configured to receive a probe and to permit movement of the probe towards the distal end of the probe sheath, and a locking mechanism configured to restrain longitudinal movement of the probe with respect to the sheath in a locked state. The locking mechanism may be unlocked to allow for movement of the probe with respect to the sheath.

PERFUSION BIOREACTOR SYSTEM AND PERFUSION CELL CULTURE METHOD
20200332242 · 2020-10-22 ·

A perfusion bioreactor system is provided herein. The perfusion bioreactor system includes a vessel having a wall at least partially defining an interior compartment for receiving fluid, at least one port fluidly connected to at least one of a plurality of external sources and at least one outlet fluidly connected to a small pore membrane device.

CONNECTION UNIT FOR CELL CULTURE DEVICE, INCUBATOR DEVICE, AND CELL CULTURE DEVICE

A cell culture device includes an isolator and an incubator. A connection unit is used to connect the isolator and the incubator, and is provided with: a flexible cell supply tube extending from the incubator to the isolator; and a tube support unit having a holding part holding the cell supply tube and a connection end part attached to the incubator. The tube support unit can be switched between a first configuration in which the tube support unit supports the cell supply tube such that the cell supply tube extends in a first direction and a second configuration in which the tube support unit holds the cell supply tube such that the cell supply tube extends in a second direction. The second configuration is switched to the first configuration by means of the restoring force of the tube support unit.

Light emitting diode photobioreactors and methods of use

A photobioreactor system and a process for its use is illustrated, whereby water and nutrients from multiple sources are balanced (mixed using aeration) to the specific requirements of the particular photosynthetic organism strain used, sterilized, further mixed to balance the system and seeded with the photosynthetic microorganism, e.g. microalgae (dilution of a concentrated stock or added to an existing algal biomass). In accordance with such an embodiment, the algal biomass is then grown for a most efficient number of hours in a totally controlled environment where temperature (using aeration, an internal coil cooling system, or a combination thereof), pH (via CO.sub.2 delivery) and light delivery (using internal lighting directly inside the algal biomass) are optimized to the algal strain grown.

METHOD FOR AGGREGATING CELL MASS AND DEVICE FOR AGGREGATING CELL MASS

A method for aggregating cell masses includes performing a cell mass aggregating step of rotating a rotating body containing a specific gravity adjustment solution and cell masses to aggregate the cell masses, the specific gravity adjustment solution having biocompatibility, the cell masses having a lower specific gravity than the specific gravity adjustment solution.
