Metal eyelet
The present invention relates to an eyelet (100) for a flexible sheet such as a tarpaulin, canvas, foil or linen, the eyelet (100) forming a generally round loop having a central aperture (1) suitable for receiving a rope. The eyelet (100) comprises a metal body (110) comprising a cylindrical section (119) comprising a first end (111) and a second end (112). The first end (111) is provided with a radially extending first flange (113) extending towards the second end (112). The second end (112) is provided with a radially extending second flange (114) extending towards the first end (111). A partly confined space (115) is formed by the first (113) and second flange (114) and the cylindrical section (119). The eyelet further comprises a plastic body (120) enclosing the metal body (110), whereby the plastic body (120) is securely joined to the metal body (110) due to plastic at least occupying the partly confined space (115). The plastic body (120) further has a radially extending plastic flange (121), thereby providing means for joining the eyelet (100) to the flexible sheet. Thereby, the eyelet experiences an improved inherent strength and improved attachment. Further, the eyelet provides a means—through the provision of an integral plastic flange—for attaching a flexible sheet to the eyelet by means of welding, melting, gluing or fusion of the two materials.
UPPER FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A TIE STRUCTURE
An upper may be included with an article of footwear. The upper may include a textile portion, the textile portion forming a throat area of the upper. The upper may further include a base portion, the base portion extending to a biteline area of the upper. The upper may further include a tie structure, the tie structure extending through a first opening of the textile portion and a second opening of the base portion to secure the textile portion to the base portion.

Footwear laces and method for tightening footwear laces
A lacing system is provided including a length of string, each string divided into a center region and a plurality of equal length regions. Each equal length region is designated by a color, pattern or indicia. The center region has a length equal to a distance between a bottom-most pair of left-side and right-side eyelets, the equal length regions each have a length equal to a diagonal distance between a left-side eyelet and a right-side eyelet. End lengths of each lace measure half the remainder of each lace remaining from the total length of the lace minus the summation of the center region plus the equal length regions. Each equal length region has a different color, pattern or indicia from its adjacent equal length region. Each of the end lengths has a different color, pattern or indicia from the equal length regions that is immediately adjacent to the end length.

KNITTED COMPONENT HAVING AN AUXETIC PORTION AND A TENSILE ELEMENT
An upper for an article of footwear may include a knitted component having an auxetic portion. The auxetic portion may be configured to move between a first position and a second position as the knitted component stretches. The knitted component may also include a tensile strand inlaid within at least one of a course and a wale of the knit element, where the tensile strand extends through the auxetic portion, and where the tensile strand is selectively securable to the knit element via a securement device. The securement device may be spaced from the auxetic portion.

Tongueless upper with lacing system
A knitted shoe upper includes a unitary one-piece knitted element with an integrated tongue. The upper also includes a lacing system including a medial side eyestay and a lateral side eyestay. The medial side eyestay includes a plurality of medial side eyelets, and the lateral side eyestay includes a plurality of lateral side eyelets. The medial and lateral eyestays are configured such that a single shoelace can be placed through each of the plurality of lateral and medial side eyelets without extending through the knitted element.
