Presented are intelligent electronic footwear with controller automated features, methods for making/using such footwear, and control systems for executing automated features of intelligent electronic footwear. An intelligent electronic shoe includes an upper that attaches to a user's foot, and a sole structure attached to the upper for supporting thereon the user's foot. A collision threat warning system, a detection tag, a wireless communications device, and a footwear controller are all mounted to the sole structure/upper. The detection tag receives a prompt signal from a transmitter-detector module and responsively transmits thereto a response signal. The footwear controller receives, through the wireless communications device, a pedestrian collision warning signal generated by the remote computing node responsive to the response signal. Responsively, the footwear controller transmits a command signal to the collision threat warning system to generate a visible, audible and/or tactile alert warning the user of an impending collision with a vehicle.

A grout cleaning attachment configured for removably attaching to a shoe enables a user to scrub a grout line with their foot. The grout cleaning attachment includes a brush that extends out and away from a toe section of the shoe so that a person using the attachment can see where the brush bristles are and locate the brush over the grout line. The grout cleaning attachment includes a cup section that slides over the front section of the shoe and a strap on the aft section that wraps around the person's shoe and ankle to secure the grout cleaning attachment to the shoe. The grout cleaning attachment is light in weight and easy to install and remove from a shoe being worn by a person. The brush is narrow in width and long in length so that most of the bristles will be used to brush over the grout line. Also, the brush can be curved upward in order to improve the brushing performance for cleaning a grout line.

The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus, system and method for efficiently and rapidly cleaning the bottom of a shoe. The system includes a base having a plurality of alternating, complementary shaped cleansing portions separated by grooves. The configuration of the cleansing portions provides for a sturdy and efficient device for cleaning the bottom of a shoe.

A shoe for simulating exercising on natural granular material. The shoe includes a shoe upper, a shoe outsole and a flexible midsole guard element that forms a chamber between the shoe upper and the outsole. The shoe further includes at least one bladder located in the chamber and that is attached to the shoe upper. The bladder includes synthetic granular material having a simulation distribution of synthetic granular material for simulating exercising on natural granular material. The bladder is compressed by the shoe upper during exercise to displace the synthetic granular material wherein the bladder is subsequently expanded by upward movement of the shoe upper during exercise to redistribute the synthetic granular material and again form a simulation distribution of synthetic granular material.

A cleaning device to be worn on footwear of a user includes a shoe attachment means configured to removably connect to the user's footwear, a cleaning element configured to removably connect to the shoe attachment means, and a coupling interface including a first connecting means positioned on the shoe attachment means and a second connecting means positioned on the cleaning element. The first connecting means and the second connecting means are configured to removably connect the shoe attachment means to the cleaning element.

A cleaning device to be worn on footwear of a user includes a shoe attachment means configured to removably connect to the user's footwear, a cleaning element configured to removably connect to the shoe attachment means, and a coupling interface including a first connecting means positioned on the shoe attachment means and a second connecting means positioned on the cleaning element. The first connecting means and the second connecting means are configured to removably connect the shoe attachment means to the cleaning element.

Footwear redesigned to include the midfoot lateral sole extension to eliminate the indention in a lateral midfoot portion of an existing design of a sole of the footwear and a revised design for an existing footwear sole that uses the midfoot lateral sole extension to eliminate the lateral midfoot indentation in the existing footwear sole. Also, a midfoot lateral sole extension for attachment to a footwear sole at an indention in a lateral midfoot portion of the footwear sole located between a lateral forefoot portion and a lateral heel portion of the footwear sole in order to fill the indentation. Also, disclosed is a method for improving lateral stability of an existing footwear sole having a lateral midfoot indentation by designing, fabricating and positioning the midfoot lateral sole extension on an existing footwear sole.

A grout cleaning attachment configured for removably attaching to a shoe enables a user to scrub a grout line with their foot. A shoelace ornament has an upper body, a lower body and a hinge that hingedly couples the upper body to the lower body at one respective end of each of said upper body and lower body. A lock across the hinge serves to lock the upper body to the lower body. The upper body and the lower body define therebetween, when the ornament is in a closed position, a shoelace opening for the passage therethrough of a shoelace threaded through a footwear article. The shoelace opening is configured to receive the shoelace therein with just enough force to hold onto it, without excessively pinching or squeezing the shoelace between the upper and lower bodies, regardless of whether the shoelace is round bodied or flat bodied.

An accessory that is wearable around a boot or other high-top shoe includes a generally flat strap having a first side, a second side, a first end and a second end. A patch of hook material may be secured to the first side of the strap adjacent to the first end and a patch of loop material may be secured to the second side of the strap adjacent to the second end. The strap has a length sufficient to wrap around the shaft of a boot and reduce an effective circumference of the boot shaft with the patch of hook material in face-to-face engagement with the patch of loop material.
