ADJUSTABLE JIG
An adjustable jig for securing a textile during assembly. The textile may be an upper of an article of footwear. The jig includes a plurality of plates displaceable in a first axis and/or second axis, each plate with one or more pin attachment sites. A template is placed on the jig and pins are placed into each plate to set the pin pattern. The template is removed and a textile is mounted to the jig using the pin pattern. The jig may be configured to accommodate different sizes and shapes of textiles, and is resistant to heating and mechanical forces.
Unitary multi-use alignment fixture for shoe production
A system for manufacturing shoes is provided that includes two or more pieces of equipment used in the customization and manufacturing of shoes and an alignment fixture that may engage with each piece of equipment by way of an alignment mounting member. The alignment fixture may secure to it a portion of a shoe, such as an upper portion, wherein the shoe portion remains in a flat position, and in a fixed relationship to the alignment fixture, throughout the various processes performed by the pieces of equipment. These processes may include, for example, printing, laser, embroidery, forming, cutting, or the like.

Article of footwear having a textile upper
An article of footwear and a method of manufacturing the article of footwear are disclosed. The footwear may include an upper and a sole structure. The upper incorporates a textile element with edges that are joined together to define at least a portion of a void for receiving a foot. The textile element may have a first area with a first knit construction and a second area with a second knit construction. Various warp or weft knitting processes, including circular knitting, may be utilized to form the textile element.
Article of footwear incorporating foam-filled elements and methods for manufacturing the foam-filled elements
An article of footwear may have an upper and a sole structure secured to the upper. The sole structure has a plurality of support elements, and each of the support elements include a shell and a core. The shell defines an interior void and is formed from a polymer material that extends around substantially all of the void. The core has a shape of the void and is located within the void, with at least a portion of the core being a polymer foam material. The polymer foam material of at least two of the support elements may have different densities.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING FOOTWEAR WITH FELTING
A needle assembly for a stitching machine comprises a stitching jig comprising a needle holder, a needle clamp hoop and a fixing jig. The needle holder has needle sockets to hold a plurality of needles. The needle clamp hoop is connected to the needle holder to retain needles in the sockets. The fixing jig is connected to the needle clamp hoop to couple with a reciprocating bar of the stitching machine. A method for manufacturing an article of footwear upper comprises laying out a first sheet of material; positioning a second sheet of material to overlap with the first sheet of material at an overlap; positioning a felt material adjacent the overlap so that the second sheet of material is between the first sheet of material and the felt material; and felting the felt material to draw fibers of the felt material through the first and second sheets of material.
