Method of continuously processing nickel-containing copper sulphide materials
A method of continuously processing nickel-containing copper sulphide materials into blister copper, waste slag, and copper-nickel alloy includes oxidizing smelting along with SiO2 and CaO-containing fluxes and coal in a conversion furnace for conversion to produce blister copper, gases with concentration of SO.sub.2, and slag with an SiO2:CaO concentration ratio of 0.4:1 to 3:1, in which the sum of the iron, nickel, and cobalt is not more than 30 wt. %, at a specific oxygen consumption in the range of 150-240 Nm.sup.3 per ton of dry sulphide material, and depleting the slag in a separate reduction furnace, using a mixture of an oxygen-containing gas and a hydrocarbon fuel at an oxygen consumption coefficient (α) in a range of 0.5 to 0.9, while supplying coal in an amount of up to 15% of weight of the slag produced by the oxidizing smelting, to produce a waste slag and a copper-nickel alloy.
PROCESS FOR THE RECOVERY OF METALS FROM OXIDIC ORES
A process is disclosed for the recovery of valuable metals from oxidic ores, in particular from polymetallic nodules. The process is suitable for the recovery of Cu, Co, Ni, Fe, and Mn, which are the main metals of interest in such polymetallic nodules. The present process is, among others, characterized by the handling of Fe, which is dissolved and kept in solution until the step of crystallization rather than removed at an earlier stage. A mixed Mn—Fe residue is obtained, which, after thermal treatment, provides a Mn—Fe oxide that is suitable for the steel or for the manganese industry. Excellent Cu, Co and Ni yields are obtained, while Fe is leached and valorized together with Mn.
Method for enriching precious metals from printed circuit board incineration ash from molten pool by circulating chlorination
The invention relates to the field of comprehensive recovery of valuable elements such as bromine, base metal and precious metal from incineration ash, especially relates to a method for enriching precious metals from printed circuit board incineration ash by bath smelting-chlorination circulation process. The process mainly comprises pretreatment of the printed circuit board Incineration ash and circulation-chlorination enrichment process for precious metals. The crude copper, crude zinc sulfate, bromine, lead chloride and precious metal enriched slag are obtained. Compared with the traditional process, it realizes the cycle enrichment of precious metals as well as avoids the loss of valuable metals and secondary pollution caused by tail liquid discharge.
Mineral processing plant
A modified selective recirculation circuit has a loading stage, a stripping stage and a filtering stage for use in processing a feed stream or slurry containing mineral particles. The stripping stage forms a first loop with the loading stage, a second loop with the filtering stage. The loading stage has a loading mixer and a loading washing screen. The stripping stage has a stripping mixer and a stripping washing screen. The loading mixer receives the slurry and causes barren media in the circuit to contact with the slurry so that the mineral particles in the slurry are loaded onto the barren media. The media is directed to the stripping stage where the mineral particles are removed from the media. The barren media is recycled to the loading stage. The stripping solution recovered from the filtering stage is returned to the stripping stage and the mineral particles are discharged as concentrate.
Comprehensive recovery method of pyrolysis polymetallic product from waste integrated circuit board
The invention relates to a method for multi-metal products recovery from pyrolytic waste integrated circuit boards. The method mainly comprises the steps of smelting and blending, atomization, acidolysis and filtration, noble metal recycling, copper extraction and back extraction, nickel extraction and back extraction. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that smoke pollution and the smelting slag treatment in the process of preparing a black copper ingot through multi-metal collaborative smelting are reduced, and the problems of low anode efficiency of the black copper electrolysis process are solved. Meanwhile, the high-temperature high-oxygen atomized gas generated in the atomizing process provides a heat source and an oxygen source for subsequent acidolysis, so that the energy consumption is further reduced. The method has the advantages such as short process, remarkable energy conservation and emission reduction.
Method and system for comprehensive recovery and utilization of copper-nickel sulfide ore
The present invention relates to the field of ore smelting technology, and particularly provides a method and system for comprehensive recovery and utilization of copper-nickel sulfide ore. Under normal pressure, the method can be used to directly leach copper-nickel sulfide ore concentrate or low-grade nickel matte obtained by matte smelting of copper-nickel sulfide ore. In the leaching process, the leaching rate of nickel, cobalt and iron is up to 99% or more, and copper is hardly leached, whereby the deep separation of copper from elements such as nickel and cobalt is directly realized, and the huge system for copper-nickel separation in the conventional process is omitted. Moreover, noble metals are not leached, and almost all of them remain in the leaching slag with copper, so the destiny is simple.
