A nickel-based superalloy comprises in weight percentages: 5.4 to 6.0% of aluminium, 7.5 to 9.0% of tantalum, 0.10 to 0.25% of titanium, 5.5 to 7.5% of cobalt, 4.0 to 5.5% of chromium, 0.10 to 0.70% of molybdenum, 4.0 to 5.0% of tungsten, 4.8 to 6.2% of rhenium, 0.04 to 0.15% of hafnium, 0 to 0.15% of silicon, the remainder consisting of nickel and unavoidable impurities. The invention also relates to a single-crystal blade comprising such an alloy and to a turbomachine comprising such a blade.

An abrasive article includes a polycrystalline material comprising abrasive grains and a filler material selected from the group of materials consisting of tungstate, molybdate, vanadate, and a combination thereof. Earth-boring tools comprise a bit body and a cutting element carried by the bit body. The cutting element comprises a polycrystalline material comprising abrasive grains, a catalyst material, and a filler material selected from the group of materials consisting of tungstate, molybdate, vanadate, and a combination thereof.
Sliding member
Provided is a sliding member comprising: a steel back metal layer; and a sliding layer including a porous sintered layer and a resin composition. The porous sintered layer includes Fe or Fe alloy granules and a NiP alloy part functioning as a binder for binding the Fe or Fe alloy granules with one another and/or for binding the Fe or Fe alloy granules with the steel back metal layer. The steel back metal layer is made of a carbon steel including 0.05 to 0.3 mass % of carbon, and includes: a non-austenite-containing portion having a structure of a ferrite phase and perlite formed in a central portion in a thickness direction of the steel back metal layer; and an austenite-containing portion having a structure of a ferrite phase, perlite and an austenite phase formed in a surface portion of the steel back metal layer facing the sliding layer.

A rare earth magnet includes main phase grains having an R.sub.2T.sub.14B type crystal structure. The main phase grains include B. A concentration ratio A (A=B/B) of the main phase grains is 1.05 or more, where B and B are respectively a highest concentration of B and a lowest concentration of B in one main phase grain.

A rare earth magnet includes main phase grains having an R.sub.2T.sub.14B type crystal structure. The main phase grains include C. A concentration ratio A1 (A1=C/C) of the main phase grains is 1.50 or more, where C and C are respectively a highest concentration of C and a lowest concentration of C in one main phase grain.

A FeNi ordered alloy includes a plurality of particles having a L1.sub.0 type ordered structure. A size of the particles is in a range between 200 nm and 500 nm. A volume fraction of a pore in the particles with respect to a volume of the particles having an unit of vol. % is 5% or less.

A rare earth magnet includes main phase grains having an R.sub.2T.sub.14B type crystal structure. The main phase grains include Ga. The median diameter D50 of the amorphous magnetic material powder is greater than or equal to the median diameter D50 of the crystalline magnetic material powder.
