SUPERELASTIC ALLOY
The present invention provides a superelastic alloy containing Au in an amount of 8.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less and at least one of Cr and Mo as essential additive elements, Ta as an optional additive element, and Ti and inevitable impurities as a balance, wherein the Cr equivalent calculated on the basis of the following formula for the relationship of the Cr content, the Mo content and the Ta content is within the range of more than 0.5 and less than 8.0. The alloy is a Ni-free superelastic alloy, and has favorable X-ray-imaging property. Accordingly, the alloy can be suitably used in medical fields.

STEEL SHEET FOR HOT PRESS FORMED MEMBER HAVING EXCELLENT COATING ADHESION AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
The present invention relates to a steel sheet for a hot press formed member having excellent coating adhesion, and a method for manufacturing the same. A steel sheet for hot press forming according to one aspect of the present invention is an aluminum alloy plated steel sheet, wherein an average Fe content in a plating layer may be 40 wt % or more, and a concentration gradient of a section having a Fe content of 45 wt % to 80 wt % in the plating layer may 7 wt %/μm or less of a concentration gradient at a section having an Fe content of 45% to 80% in the plating layer in a thickness direction from a surface of the plating layer according to a result of GDS analysis.
α+β type titanium alloy and production method therefor
The present invention provides an α+β type titanium alloy and a production method therefor, which has an ultrafine structure causing superplasticity under low temperatures and has a high deformation ratio compared to conventional α+β type Ti alloys. The alloy has an ultrafine structure made of equiaxial crystals in which an area ratio of crystals having a grain diameter of 1 μm or less is 60% or more, and maximum frequency grain diameter is 0.5 μm or less, wherein a portion in which the integration degree of plane orientation of the hexagonal close-packed crystal is 1.00 or more exists within a range of 0 to 60 degrees with respect to a normal line of a processed surface of the alloy.
α+β type titanium alloy and production method therefor
The present invention provides an α+β type titanium alloy and a production method therefor, which has an ultrafine structure causing superplasticity under low temperatures and has a high deformation ratio compared to conventional α+β type Ti alloys. The alloy has an ultrafine structure made of equiaxial crystals in which an area ratio of crystals having a grain diameter of 1 μm or less is 60% or more, and maximum frequency grain diameter is 0.5 μm or less, wherein a portion in which the integration degree of plane orientation of the hexagonal close-packed crystal is 1.00 or more exists within a range of 0 to 60 degrees with respect to a normal line of a processed surface of the alloy.
HIGH ENTROPY ALLOY STRUCTURE AND A METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
A method for preparing a high entropy alloy (HEA) structure includes the steps of: preparing an alloy by arc melting raw materials comprising five or more elements; drop casting the melted alloy into a cooled mold to form a bulk alloy; applying an external force against the bulk alloy to reshape the bulk alloy; and heat-treating the reshaped bulk alloy, wherein the bulk alloy is reshaped and/or heat-treated for manipulating the distribution of the microstructure therein. The present invention also relates to a high entropy alloy structure prepared by the method.
Heat-resistant Ir alloy wire
Provided is an Ir alloy wire, which is further improved in oxidation wear resistance while ensuring a Vickers hardness. The Ir alloy wire includes: 5 mass % to 30 mass % of Rh; and 0.5 mass % to 5 mass % of Ta, wherein an average value A for an aspect ratio (crystal grain length/crystal grain width) of a structure of the alloy wire in a range of a depth of 0.05 mm or less from a surface of the alloy wire satisfies 1≤A<6.
Heat-resistant Ir alloy wire
Provided is an Ir alloy wire, which is further improved in oxidation wear resistance while ensuring a Vickers hardness. The Ir alloy wire includes: 5 mass % to 30 mass % of Rh; and 0.5 mass % to 5 mass % of Ta, wherein an average value A for an aspect ratio (crystal grain length/crystal grain width) of a structure of the alloy wire in a range of a depth of 0.05 mm or less from a surface of the alloy wire satisfies 1≤A<6.
HIGH STRENGTH PRODUCTS EXTRUDED FROM 6XXX ALUMINIUM ALLOYS HAVING EXCELLENT CRASH PERFORMANCE
An aluminium alloy extruded product obtained by casting a billet from a 6xxx aluminium alloy comprising: Si: 0.3-1.5 wt. %; Fe: 0.1-0.3 wt. %; Mg: 0.3-1.5 wt. %; Cu<1.5 wt. %; Mn<1.0%; Zr<0.2 wt. %; Cr<0.4 wt. %; Zn<0.1 wt. %; Ti<0.2 wt. %, V<0.2 wt. %, the rest being aluminium and inevitable impurities; Wherein an ageing treatment is applied such that the product presents an excellent compromise between strength and crashability, with a yield strength Rp0.2 higher than 240 MPa, preferably higher than 280 MPa and when axially compressed, the profile presents a regularly folded surface having cracks with a maximal length of 10 mm, preferably less than 5 mm.
CAST PRODUCT HAVING ALUMINA BARRIER LAYER
The present invention provides a cast product that can further enhance the stability of an alumina barrier layer and can exhibit further superior oxidation resistance, carburization resistance, nitriding resistance, corrosion resistance, and the like when used under a high-temperature atmosphere. The cast product according to the present invention is a cast product having an alumina barrier layer including an aluminum oxide on a surface of a matrix, and the aluminum oxide is (Al.sub.(1-x)M.sub.(x)).sub.2O.sub.3, where M is at least one of Cr, Ni, Si, and Fe, and x satisfies a relationship 0<x<0.5. Furthermore, the cast product according to the present invention is a cast product having an alumina barrier layer including an aluminum oxide on a surface of a matrix, and at least one of Cr, Ni, Si, and Fe forms a solid solution in the aluminum oxide, and at least one of Cr, Ni, Si, and Fe forming the solid solution with Al is contained so as to satisfy a relationship Al/(Cr+Ni+Si+Fe)≧2.0 in an atomic % ratio.
SUPERPLASTIC-FORMING ALUMINUM ALLOY PLATE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
The present disclosure shows a superplastic-forming aluminum alloy plate that has excellent properties for superplastic-forming, such as blow forming, and that has excellent surface properties after forming. Shown is a superplastic-forming aluminum alloy plate and a production method therefor, the superplastic-forming aluminum alloy plate being characterized by comprising an aluminum alloy which contains 2.0 to 6.0 mass % Mg, 0.5 to 1.8 mass % Mn and 0.40 mass % or less Cr and in which the balance consists of Al and unavoidable impurities, wherein the unavoidable impurities are restricted to have 0.20 mass % or less Fe and 0.20 mass % or less Si, the 0.2% proof stress is 340 MPa or more, and the density of intermetallic compounds having an equivalent circular diameter of 5 to 15 μm at the RD-TD plane which extends along the center of the plate cross-section is 50 to 400 pieces/mm.sup.2.
