A continuous galvanizing apparatus for multiple rods. The apparatus includes a kettle for heating and retaining a liquid therein with at least a portion of the kettle having an open top. A trough assembly retains liquid therein. The trough assembly is arranged above the kettle open top above the liquid level, with the trough assembly having at least one lower chamber within the kettle below a level of the liquid in the kettle. A pump in the lower chamber draws liquid from the kettle to the trough assembly. A plurality of entry openings are provided in the trough assembly along with a plurality of exit openings opposed to and aligned with the entry openings. Adjacent tubes in the trough assembly are aligned with the plurality of entry and exit openings.

The invention is characterized in that at least one of the journal bearings (20, 31) in its associated supporting arm (1, 2, 34, 37, 54, 57) is fixed in the bearing receptacle (45, 55) by means of a force-fit that engages on the outer edge of the journal bearing (20, 31) and balances the different heat expansion coefficients of the journal bearings (20, 31) and the bearing receptacle (45, 55).

A floating liquid material distribution device having a plurality of apertures arranged in a grid pattern is disclosed. The device floats on top of liquid material within a container. When a person applies force to the device with an applicator, the device allows liquid material to be evenly distributed through the apertures to the application surface of the device and onto the applicator. As the liquid material is used up, the device follows the top of the surface of the liquid, and thus follows the liquid material to the bottom of the container, always a distance off the paint. Also disclosed is an actuation device that works in combination with a container lid. When the actuation device is actuated, a liquid material distribution device drops down onto liquid contained within the container.

The present invention relates to aluminum plated steel sheet which does not require coating after plating and is high in production flexibility enabling application of conventional production processes as they are or exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to flex fuels and further is excellent in appearance and to fuel tanks characterized by being produced using the steel sheet. The Si, Mg, Ca, and Ti ingredients in the aluminum plating layer are defined and the cooling method after hot dip aluminum coating is controlled to make Mg.sub.2Si particles with a long axis of 10 μm or less and an aspect ratio of 1 to 3 finely disperse in the plating layer. Due to the Mg.sub.2Si particles, it is possible to give an excellent corrosion resistance to flex fuels and suppress the deterioration in appearance due to MgO.
