METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INHIBITING CORROSION FROM FIRE SUPPRESSION AGENTS IN SITU
Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for inhibiting corrosion of a fire extinguisher container which contains a fire suppression agent that includes CF.sub.3I.
Liquid composition and terminal-fitted electric wire
A liquid composition which has an excellent coating property at room temperature and is retained on a surface to be coated after application on the surface, and a terminal-fitted electric wire having an increased corrosion resistance using the same. The liquid composition contains a high-consistency material, a low-viscosity liquid having a kinetic viscosity of 100 mm.sup.2/s or lower measured at 40 C. in accordance with JIS K2283, and an adduct containing an acidic phosphate ester containing one or more kinds of compounds represented by General Formulae (1) and (2), and a metal,
P(O)(OR.sub.1)(OH).sub.2(1),
P(O)(OR.sub.1).sub.2(OH)(2),
where R.sub.1 represents a hydrocarbon group having 4 to 30 carbon atoms.
Corrosion inhibition
A corrosion inhibiting composition which is a liquid carrier in which is dissolved or dispersed a corrosion inhibitor compound comprising at least one moiety (A) which is an aliphatic, aromatic or mixed aliphatic/aromatic structure containing one or more hetero atoms which are nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus or sulphur, and also at least one moiety (B) which contains one or more polymerisable groups containing double or triple bonded carbon, with the moieties (A) and (B) directly or indirectly covalently connected together.
Connectors for pneumatic devices in microfluidic systems
In one embodiment, a removable pneumatic connector, comprises a body having a plurality of bores passing through, each bore surrounded by a sealing member on an inner surface of the body. A plurality of gas lines may be placed within a corresponding bore. A vacuum port is disposed on the inner surface of the body, and an outer seal on the inner surface of the body surrounds the sealing members and the vacuum port. A vacuum line may be placed within the vacuum port, and configured to deliver negative pressure to the vacuum port. A vacuum holding area is created in the volume between the outer seal and each of the sealing members when the inner surface of the body is placed against a substrate. When the vacuum line is activated, a vacuum is created within the vacuum holding area, creating a positive seal between the body and the substrate.
Corrosion inhibiting films
A film for inhibiting corrosion including a polymeric resin and a vapor corrosion inhibitor film additive is described. The vapor corrosion inhibitor film additive includes compounds useful to protect metal surfaces from corrosion, such as ammonium or alkylammonium carboxylates and/or a triazole derivative. The film may include multiple layers.
Method for Manufacturing Filled Container, and Filled Container
The method for producing a filled container of the present invention includes: providing a metal storage container, at least an inner surface of which is formed of a manganese steel and in which the inner surface has a surface roughness R.sub.max of 10 m or less; performing fluorination by bringing the inner surface of the storage container into contact with a gas containing at least one first fluorine-containing gas selected from the group consisting of ClF.sub.3, IF.sub.7, BrF.sub.5, F.sub.2, and WF.sub.6 at 50 C. or lower; purging the inside of the storage container with an inert gas; and filling the inside of the storage container with at least one second fluorine-containing gas selected from the group consisting of ClF.sub.3, IF.sub.7, BrF.sub.5, F.sub.2, and WF.sub.6.
Purine-based corrosion inhibitors
Disclosed are methods of using biodegradable heterocyclic compounds of relatively low toxicity as corrosion inhibitors. The present method is used to inhibit corrosion of a metal surface in contact with an aqueous system using compounds comprising a purine structure, and provides enhanced protection against corrosion of metals in aqueous systems. The method comprises the use of corrosion inhibitors that are generally resistant to halogen attack and provide good corrosion resistance in the presence of oxidizing halogen-based biocides. Formulations comprising purine-based compounds are also disclosed.
Corrosion inhibiting hydraulic fluid additive
Corrosion inhibiting hydraulic fluid additives, kits, and methods are disclosed. The hydraulic fluid additive may be adapted for use with brake fluid in vehicular brake systems. The kits may include an additive, a hydraulic fluid tester, and/or correlated information on test results and hydraulic fluid service actions.

Mobile rustproofing washing system
A mobile rustproofing washing system includes a receptacle, a control module, a water supply module, a filtration module and a washing module. The receptacle is removably disposed on a mobile carrier. The control module is disposed in the receptacle. The water supply module is disposed in the receptacle and includes a front water tank and a rear water tank. The filtration module is connected to the front water tank and the rear water tank. The filtration module receives and filters water from the front water tank. The filtered water is stored in the rear water tank. The washing module connects with the rear water tank and receives water therefrom, so as to carry out a washing process. Therefore, the mobile rustproofing washing system is quick to mount/demount and easy to use, thereby having high mobility.
