Method and System for Processing Whole Hemp Stalks
A method and system for processing whole hemp stalks is disclosed. The method and system use an entirety of the whole hemp stalks in producing the particulate hemp such that the particulate hemp comprises both bast fiber and shire of the original whole hemp stalks. Additionally, hemp crumbs or crumbles may be processed from whole hemp stalks, or from particulate hemp which is larger than the hemp crumbs such as hemp pellets. The hemp crumbs may be formed by crushing the hemp pellets.
Surface enhanced pulp fibers, methods of making surface enhanced pulp fibers, products incorporating surface enhanced pulp fibers, and methods of making products incorporating surface enhanced pulp fibers
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to surface enhanced pulp fibers, various products incorporating surface enhanced pulp fibers, and methods and systems for producing surface enhanced pulp fibers. Various embodiments of surface enhanced pulp fibers have significantly increased surface areas compared to conventional refined fibers while advantageously minimizing reductions in length following refinement. The surface enhanced pulp fibers can be incorporated into a number of products that might benefit from such properties including, for example, paper products, paperboard products, fiber cement boards, fiber reinforced plastics, fluff pulps, hydrogels, cellulose acetate products, and carboxymethyl cellulose products. In some embodiments, a plurality of surface enhanced pulp fibers have a length weighted average fiber length of at least about 0.3 millimeters and an average hydrodynamic specific surface area of at least about 10 square meters per gram, wherein the number of surface enhanced pulp fibers is at least 12,000 fibers/milligram on an oven-dry basis.

MULTI-DENSITY TISSUE TOWEL PRODUCTS COMPRISING HIGH-ASPECT-RATIO CELLULOSE FILAMENTS
An absorbent towel paper web product produced by a paper making process that introduces differential density within the fibrous web and comprises from about 0.05 percent to about 20.0 percent by weight of the dry fiber basis of the paper web product with cellulose nanofilaments.
Method and system for processing whole hemp stalks including extracting oil from processed hemp
A method and system for processing whole hemp stalks is disclosed. The method and system use an entirety of the whole hemp stalks in producing the particulate hemp such that the particulate hemp comprises both bast fiber and shive of the original whole hemp stalks. Additionally, hemp crumbs or crumbles may be processed from whole hemp stalks, or from particulate hemp which is larger than the hemp crumbs such as hemp pellets. PROCESSES FOR RECYCLING CARPET AND PRODUCTS OF SUCH PROCESSES
Methods for the recycling of carpet are disclosed that produce clean face fiber suitable for industrial use. The methods allow the recovery of face fiber material, for example a polyester or a polyamide, from carpets that includes a face fiber material and a backing material, and include the steps of heating the carpet to a temperature lower than the melting point of the face fiber material, but higher than the initial thermal decomposition temperature of the backing material, for a time and at a temperature sufficient to thermally decompose, pyrolyze, or oxidize at least a portion of the backing material, rendering the backing material friable, that is more friable than the untreated backing; and applying mechanical force to the carpet so as to liberate the friable backing material from the face fiber material.

Oil exraction from processed hemp
Oil is extracted from processed hemp which is better suited for transportation than whole hemp stalks particularly when oil extraction and initial processing of the hemp from the whole hemp stalks is performed at separate facilities. For example, the processed hemp may be characterized in that it was pelletized as part of its processing from the whole hemp stalks. Used processed hemp lacking/deprived of oil that is generated from the step of extracting the cannabinoid oil may be reused in a vendible product, for example where the lack of oil does not alter performance of the hemp in use of that vendible product.
