Blended fiber pad
09731436 · 2017-08-15 ·

A system for creating a blended fiber pad made from a mixture of alpaca fiber and a selected fiber. The fiber pad is used for bedding products, cushions, toppers and furniture. The system includes a washing station for cleaning and processing the fiber mixture and a pad forming machine. The washing station is used to thoroughly wash, clean and dry the alpaca fiber and the selected fiber. The washing station includes a series of wash tanks, squeeze pads and drying racks. The dried alpaca fiber and dried selected fiber are then baled and fed into the pad forming machine. The pad forming machine includes a plurality of individual sections with a series of conveyor belts. The conveyor belts are used for conveying the fiber mixture and a bond material from one station to the next and creating a finished blended fiber pad.

A method is for filling a fillable portion of a garment to be padded to obtain a padded garment, such as a garment or blanket. A cashmere fiber mass is fed towards a carding station. The cashmere fiber mass is mechanically opened and blended in the carding station by a carding machine to obtain a staple cashmere fiber. The staple cashmere fiber exiting from the carding station is fed towards a beating station. The staple cashmere fiber is cleaned in the beating station by cleaning air flow adapted to cross and inflate the staple cashmere fiber to remove residual impurities and dust from the staple cashmere fiber. The staple cashmere fiber exiting from the beating station is fed towards an injecting station and injected into the fillable portion by a pusher for introducing the staple cashmere fiber into the fillable portion to obtain the padded garment.

Low Temperature Fiber Spinning and Textile Finishing Method
20170211228 · 2017-07-27 ·

Methods for spinning, weaving, and finishing fabric and/or cloth containing cotton fibers are disclosed. The methods of the invention are performed at lower ambient, solution and/or working temperatures than is previously known in the art. The reduced temperature processing improves various qualities of the resulting textile products and fabrics and lowers costs of operating the processing facility.

Method For Reinforcing A Thermoplastic Resin Composition
20170190853 · 2017-07-06 ·

The present invention is directed to plant fiber-reinforced biocomposite thermoplastic and/or resin compositions and a method for reinforcing thermoplastic resins. The present invention provides a use for the cellulose portion of a plant material, which is the portion left over after processing the selected plant materials to separate the cellulose in a mechanical process that does not damage the internal molecular structure of the cellulose fraction, enabling the cellulose fraction to chemically bond with the thermoplastic resin to enhance the reinforcement of the resin or thermoplastic biocomposite composition.

Fiber Processing System along with a Method for Opening and Mixing Fiber Material in a Fiber Processing System
20170183797 · 2017-06-29 ·

The invention relates to a fiber processing system for opening and mixing fiber material, with a multiple number of bale openers (2) for opening fiber bales (FB) and conveying devices (4a, 4b; 14a, 14b) downstream of the bale openers (2) for mixing and conveying the opened fiber material to a downstream processing device (10), for example a mixing chamber or a carding feed. The device in accordance with the invention is characterized in that the bale openers (2) are divided into at least two opener groups (3a, 3b; 13a, 13b), each of which produces a fiber mixture (M1, M2), and that each opener group (3a, 3b; 13a, 13b) is allocated with a conveying device (4a, 4b; 14a, 14b), whereas the conveying devices (4a, 4b; 14a, 14b) are designed and arranged in such a manner that the respective fiber mixture (M1, M2) is transported away in relation to the associated opener group (3a, 3b; 13a, 13b) in different directions (R1, R2; R1, R2) and the fiber mixtures (M1, M2) are combined before or in the processing device (10) into an overall fiber mixture (GM). Likewise, the invention relates to a method for opening and mixing fiber material in a fiber processing system.
