CLEANING DEVICE FOR A YARN FORMING ELEMENT OF AN AIR-SPINNING NOZZLE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING A YARN FORMING ELEMENT OF THIS TYPE
The invention relates to a cleaning device for a yarn forming element of an air-spinning nozzle, to a spinning position of an air-spinning machine and to a method for cleaning a yarn forming element of this type. In order to provide a spinning position of an air-spinning machine and a method for cleaning a yarn forming element of an air-spinning machine which allow long and trouble-free operation with constant quality and strength of the yarn produced, it is provided that the cleaning device has a cleaning strip and a storage unit for providing and retracting the cleaning strip, a fixed end of the cleaning strip being fastened to the storage unit, and a free end of the cleaning strip being able to be provided for cleaning and retracted again after the cleaning. Furthermore, the cleaning device has a cleaning strip guide for feeding the free end of the cleaning strip to the yarn forming element of the air-spinning nozzle for mechanical cleaning.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A SPINNING MACHINE OF A ROTOR SPINNING MACHINE, AND SPINNING MACHINE OF A ROTOR SPINNING MACHINE
A method for operating a spinning device of a rotor spinning machine, and associated rotor spinning machine are provided in which a spinning rotor includes a rotor cup and a rotor shaft that is set into rotation with the aid of a drive situated in a drive housing. The drive is operatively connected to the rotor shaft, and the rotor shaft is supported in the drive housing by a bearing. The rotor cup is situated in a rotor housing to which vacuum is applied, and the rotor shaft extends between the drive housing and the rotor housing through a connection opening such that when a vacuum is drawn in the rotor housing during a spinning process, a vacuum is also drawn in the drive housing. Compressed air is feed into the drive housing via an air inlet at intervals to clean one or both of the drive housing and the bearing.
Method for cleaning a textile machine
A method for cleaning a textile machine having a plurality of work stations includes issuing a cleaning request for a first one of the work stations. In response to the cleaning request, the first work station is approached and cleaned by a mobile cleaning device that travels alongside of the textile machine. The cleaning requests are issued for the work stations depending on specifically identified contamination-generating events that have occurred at or near the respective work station since a last cleaning process at the work station. A textile machine configured in accordance with the method is also provided.
Method for Maintaining Spinning Units of a Spinning Machine along with a Spinning Machine
A method and associated spinning machine for maintaining spinning units of the spinning machine includes a plurality of the spinning units arranged next to one another and at least one maintenance device that is movable along the spinning units to perform maintenance procedures on the spinning units. Prior to maintenance of a spinning unit by the maintenance device, a housing of the spinning unit is opened. Subsequently, the maintenance is performed and then the housing is closed. One or both of the opening and the closing of the housing is carried out autonomously with a sealing device operably configured at the spinning unit.
Cleaning Device for Cleaning a Rotor Disk of a Spinning Rotor
A cleaning device (1) for cleaning a rotor disk (2) of a spinning rotor (3) features a cleaning head (4), which features at least one cleaning element (5a, 5b) for cleaning the spinning rotor (3), and one receptacle (6), in which the cleaning head (4) is mounted and which can be fed to the spinning rotor (3) for cleaning. The cleaning head (4) features at least one bearing area (7), the longitudinal direction of which defines an axial direction (AR) of the cleaning head (4). The cleaning head (4) is stored in an axial direction (AR) in a floating manner on the receptacle (6) and/or the at least one cleaning element (5a, 5b) is stored in an axial direction in a floating manner on the cleaning head (4).
Apparatus and system for cleaning a filter
A filter cleaning apparatus has a top section and a base section. The top section rests on a housing support. A lid in the top section is connected to the top section by a hinge. Internally, there is a threaded rod supporting a cone and a positioning nut. The positioning nut is used to secure the position of the cone. When a filter is to be placed in the apparatus, the position of the cone is adjusted with the positioning nut. A filter is then placed thereon and the lid closed. A locking mechanism secured the lid in place. A textured disk is positioned on the underside of the lid. When a crank handle on top of the lid is turned, the textured disk is turned thereby turning the filter resting on the cone. As the filter turns, cleaning mechanisms remove debris which pass through openings for removal.
