Spinning machine and method for operating a spinning machine with a multiple number of spinning stations
10351976 · 2019-07-16 · ·

A method is provided for operating a spinning machine with a multiple number of spinning stations. In the normal case, the individual spinning stations are supplied with a fiber material and produce a yarn. Upon the occurrence of predefined events, yarn production is interrupted at individual or all spinning stations, whereas such spinning stations are, when required, subjected to piecing with the assistance of a piecing process in order to start up yarn production again. The respective piecing is carried out with the assistance of handling tools associated with the spinning machine. The individual spinning stations are classified on the basis of one or more production-related parameters, and that, if more piecing processes are to be carried out at the same time than can be carried out by the handling tools, at least the selection of the spinning station to be subjected to piecing next is carried out under consideration of the specified classification.

Open-end spinning machine, and method and control device for operating an open-end spinning machine of this type

An open-end spinning machine having a plurality of workstations, each workstation has a spinning apparatus for producing a thread, a thread draw-off device for drawing off the thread from the spinning apparatus, a storage nozzle, a winding apparatus for producing a cross-wound bobbin, and a suction nozzle, to which negative pressure can be applied. The open-end spinning machine is equipped with at least one service unit, serving a plurality of the workstations and has an auxiliary-thread delivery device for delivering an auxiliary thread and an auxiliary-thread draw-off, which are used in a piecing process at a workstation to be served. The auxiliary-thread draw-off can be operated in such a way that the auxiliary-thread draw-off speed of the auxiliary-thread draw-off for drawing off the pieced auxiliary thread has a speed offset, which takes into account the thread draw-off speed of the thread draw-off device and at least one additional correction factor.

A yarn return unit for returning a yarn into a delivery unit of a textile machine during a piecing process includes a yarn-guiding section configured to guide and position the yarn with respect to the delivery unit. A blowing unit generates an air flow for returning the yarn from the yarn-guiding section into the delivery unit, the blowing unit defining a flow direction of the air flow. The yarn-guiding section includes an open contour that defines an insertion area through which the yarn is inserted into the yarn-guiding section transversely to the flow direction of the air flow.

METHOD FOR KNOTTING GLASS FIBER BUNDLES AND SPLICED GLASS FIBER BUNDLE
20190062209 · 2019-02-28 · ·

The present disclosure provides a method for knotting glass fibers and a spliced glass fiber bundle. The method for knotting glass fibers comprises the following steps of: equally dividing a glass fiber bundle A and a glass fiber bundle B that are to be connected by knotting into n strands, respectively, and marking the strands as A1-An and B1-Bn, respectively, wherein n is a natural number greater than or equal to 2; and, successively knotting and splicing the glass fiber strands A1-An and the glass fiber strands B1-Bn in one-to-one correspondence to form n spliced knots. The method for knotting glass fibers in the present disclosure is simple, easy to operate and applied to the knotting and splicing of various fiber bundles, and can effectively reduce the size of knots formed by knotting fiber bundles. Accordingly, the blockage, entanglement, stoppage and other phenomena during the production can be prevented, the smooth production is ensured, and it is advantageous for continuous production and quality of subsequent products.
