The woven cloth is composed of a plurality of longitudinal threads and a plurality of horizontal threads. Each of the longitudinal threads is woven by a plurality of filaments. The longitudinal threads are spacedly arranged parallel. The horizontal threads are spacedly arranged and are woven with the longitudinal threads so that the woven cloth has a plurality of holes among the longitudinal threads and the horizontal threads. Each of the horizontal thread is tied with the longitudinal threads to form a plurality of knots. Each of the knots is located between two adjacent ones of the holes.

HYBRID CHAIN LINK

The present invention relates to a chain link comprising a strip comprising warp yarns and weft yarns, with the warp yarns containing warp yarn A and warp yarn B, with the minimum creep rate of warp yarn B being higher than the minimum creep rate of warp yarn A, wherein the strip comprises a longitudinal core section and at least two longitudinal edge sections, and wherein the concentration of warp yarn A in the core section is higher than the concentration of yarn A in the edge sections of the strip and the concentration of warp yarn B in the edge sections is higher than the concentration of warp yarn B in the core section of the strip. The invention also relates to a chain comprising said chain link and to use of said chain in different applications.

POLYMERIC CHAIN LINK

The present invention relates to a chain link comprising a strip comprising a warp yarn, wherein the strip comprises a longitudinal core section and at least two longitudinal edge sections, and wherein the length of the warp yarn in the edge sections is higher than the length of the warp yarn in the core section of the strip. The invention also relates to a chain comprising said chain link and to use of said chain in different applications.

HYBRID CHAIN LINK

The present invention relates to a chain link comprising a strip comprising a longitudinal core section and at least two longitudinal edge sections, wherein the thickness of the core section is higher than the thickness of the edge sections, preferably the strip comprising warp yarn A and warp yarn B, the titer of warp yarn A being higher than the titer of warp yarn B, and wherein the concentration of warp yarn A in the core section is higher than the concentration of yarn A in the edge sections of the strip and the concentration of warp yarn B in the edge sections is higher than the concentration of warp yarn B in the core section of the strip. The invention also relates to a chain comprising said chain link and to the use of said chain in different applications.

Woven band with different stretch regions

A wearable band includes a woven material having two or more stretch regions. The different stretch regions can be formed by varying the tension on subsets of the warp threads, the weft threads, or both the warp and weft threads. A system for producing the woven material can include two or more tension control devices operably connected to a processing device. Each tension control device is configured to adjust the amount of tension in a respective subset of threads (e.g., warp threads) in the woven material during a weaving operation. The processing device is configured to select thread tension patterns for the subsets of threads used during the weaving operation. Each thread tension pattern includes tension settings for the subsets of threads, where at least one tension setting in one thread tension pattern differs from the tension settings in the other tension patterns.

An airfoil wall that includes a wishbone-shaped fiber layup structure that has first and second arms that merge into a single leg. The leg includes fiber tows from each of the arms and the tows are interwoven in the leg. Each of the arms includes a first section that is distal from the leg and a second section that is proximal to the leg. The first section defines a first thickness and a first fiber tow count. The second section defines a second thickness that is greater than the first thickness and a second fiber tow count that is greater than the first fiber tow count. The single leg defines a third thickness that is greater than the second thickness and a third fiber tow count that is greater than the second fiber tow count.
