Covering for architectural features, related systems, and methods of manufacture

A covering for an architectural feature having generally horizontal vane elements coupled to and located between generally front and rear generally vertical support members, which in preferred embodiments are adjustable to control the amount of light transmitted through the covering. In one embodiment the covering has three dimensional multi-layered, cellular vanes, and in another embodiment, the one or more support members are formed of a dark color, the rear support member(s) may be formed of material that is darker than the front support member(s), or vise versa. In another embodiment, the support members, e.g., sheers, have an openness factor, preferably as low as about sixty-five percent (65%) to as large as about ninety percent (90%). Other embodiments include structure, assemblies and methods for controlling the closure of the covering as well as embodiments of bottom rail assemblies. Also provided is a method of manufacturing the covering.

Provided is a multiple woven gauze fabric capable of controlling the degree of wrinkling according to use. A double woven gauze fabric is formed by stacking a front surface gauze structure A and a back surface gauze structure B. The front surface gauze structure A and the back surface gauze structure B are formed, and the front surface gauze structure A and the back surface gauze structure B are joined, as appropriate. The front surface gauze structure A is composed of a non-twist yarn, and the back surface gauze structure B is composed of a hollow yarn. That is, a gauze structure composed only of twisted yarn (solid yarn) is not included. The degree of wrinkling is controlled by considering the hollow rate of the hollow yarn.

CROP NETTING MATERIAL

Described herein is a pillar knitted crop netting comprising widely spaced knitted pillars and crop netting materials comprising a region(s) having such construction. Also described herein are crop nettings comprising yarns defining apertures to form the netting wherein said apertures have a plurality of sides formed by yarn sections and at least one of those yarn sections may be relatively slack when the netting is held taut in lengthwise and widthwise directions. The above nettings may have advantageous hail passage performance.

HIGH TEMPERATURE MONOFILAMENT ARTICLES

A fabricated part for a high temperature operation including a non-metallic substrate formed of a polymer fabric of woven non-absorbent polymer filament. The substrate is heat-resistant and heat set at a temperature that is above a predetermined operating temperature of an operation of the fabricated part. The heat setting pre-shrinks/heat stabilizes the material, thereby reducing failure during use in high temperature and/or wet applications. The substrate is useful as an endless belt and other applications. The invention further includes an apparatus with a heating device configured to operate at the predetermined operating temperature, and the fabricated part within or extending through the heating device.

WOVEN CLOTH

The woven cloth includes a plurality of first threads, a plurality of second threads, and a plurality of third threads. Each first thread and each second thread are woven by a plurality of filaments respectively. Each first thread is interwoven with and ties the plurality of second threads and is interwoven with and ties at least part of the plurality of third threads. The third threads are not interwoven with the plurality of the second threads.

WOVEN CLOTH

The woven cloth is formed by a plurality of longitudinal threads and a plurality of lateralwise threads. Each longitudinal thread is woven by a plurality of filaments. Each lateralwise thread is interwoven with and ties the plurality of longitudinal threads. The woven cloth includes a non-woven section and two woven sections which are connected with two ends of the non-woven section. Each woven section includes at least two of the plurality of lateralwise threads which are adjacent to each other. In an extending direction in which the longitudinal threads extend, a span of the non-woven section is greater than a gap span between adjacent two of the lateralwise threads of respective one of the two woven sections.

COMPOSITE GEOSYNTHETIC FABRIC WITH INCREASED PEEL STRENGTH

A composite geosynthetic fabric includes a woven fabric and a nonwoven fabric adhered to the woven fabric. The nonwoven fabric includes a plurality of fibers, with each fiber of the plurality of fibers of the nonwoven fabric being about 2 to about 18 denier per filament. A portion of the fibers of the nonwoven fabric extend through the woven fabric and is fused together on a face of the woven fabric that is opposite a nonwoven face side of the woven fabric.
