Articles of footwear comprising a leno woven upper and methods of making the same

An article of footwear having an upper comprising leno woven fabric. The leno woven fabric may be a single layer leno woven fabric. The leno woven fabric may have a pattern to provide desired characteristics, such as but not limited to, ventilation, thermal conductivity, stretchability, strength, moisture wicking, and/or antimicrobial protection. The pattern may be non-uniform to provide varying degrees of one or more of these characteristics. Methods for manufacturing an article of footwear including an upper comprising leno woven fabric are also provided.

The present embodiments provide a woven element having a first plurality of warp threads extending in a first direction and integrated into a first surface on a front side of the woven element. The woven element may have a second plurality of warp threads extending in the first direction, where the second plurality of warp threads is integrated into a second surface on a back side of the woven element. A first weft thread may extend in a second direction, where a first portion of the first weft thread is positioned in front of at least one warp thread of the first plurality of warp threads to form at least a portion of a graphic image on the front surface. A second portion of the first weft thread may extend between the first plurality of warp threads and the second plurality of warp threads.

MASONRY REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE COMPRISING PARALLEL CORDS

A masonry reinforced with at least one bed joint masonry reinforcement structure. The bed joint reinforcement structure includes at least two cords, which have metal filaments that are twisted together. The cords are oriented parallel or substantially parallel in the length direction of the masonry reinforcement structure.

Bioabsorbable textiles and methods for joint function restoration

A bioabsorbable textile for the restoration of the joint function whereas the joint is affected by partial thickness tears, small to medium full-thickness tears, large to massive full-thickness tears, acute and chronic/degenerative tears. The bioabsorbable textile may comprise polymeric yarns interconnected to form a weave or knitted configuration, wherein said bioabsorbable textile provides a combined mechanical and biological augmentation in the target joint tissue. The bioabsorbable textile may be implanted in combination with fixation tools during open, mini-open or arthroscopic repair/augmentation procedures of joint tissue tears.

An elastic fabric may be knitted and made by a plurality of rubber threads, first elastic wefts, second elastic wefts, first wraps, high-tensile nylons and second wraps. The rubber thread, the first elastic weft, the second elastic weft are elastic, and the first elastic weft, and the second elastic weft are knitted across and interlaced with the rubber thread at right angles such that the elastic fabric is configured to be stretched in all directions. The first elastic weft and the second elastic weft are wrapped on at least three rubber threads to form a plurality of breathing holes therebetween, and the first wrap and the second wrap are wrapped along the single rubber thread such that the elastic fabric is configured to have the solid structure and the great ventilation effect simultaneously.
