PROPELLER BLADE OR VANE FOR AN AIRCRAFT WITH PARTICULAR WEAVING OF A FIBRE PREFORM RECEIVING A BLADDER FILLED WITH A SHAPING FOAM

A blade includes a fibrous reinforcement having a three-dimensional weave densified by a matrix, the fibrous reinforcement including, in a single woven piece, a root and an aerodynamic profile part extending along a longitudinal direction between the root part and a blade tip portion and along a transverse direction between a leading and a trailing edge portion. The profile part includes first and second suction side and pressure side faces. The fibrous reinforcement includes a separation forming a housing inside the fibrous reinforcement, a bladder filled with a shaping foam being present in the housing. The separation extends over a separation zone inside the profile part of the fibrous reinforcement comprised between the root part and the blade tip portion in the longitudinal direction and between the leading and the trailing edge portion in the transverse direction. The separation opens to the outside of the profile part.

A method and a device are used for generating a jacquard pattern of a preform. The method comprises acquiring initial structure information of a preform to be prepared; generating an initial jacquard pattern of the preform to be prepared; pixel values of pixels in the initial jacquard pattern, comprising a first pixel value and a second pixel value, are equal to the first pixel value when warp yarns corresponding to the pixels are located above corresponding weft yarns, and are equal to the second pixel value when warp yarns corresponding to the pixels are located below corresponding weft yarns; acquiring yarn reduction information of the preform to be prepared; and adjusting the initial jacquard pattern according to the yarn reduction information to obtain the jacquard pattern of the preform to be prepared.

WOVEN FIBROUS TEXTURE

A fibrous texture intended to form the fibrous reinforcement of a turbomachine part, includes first yarns bonded with second yarns, and at least one vibration damping element of viscoelastic material present in a recess defined by a second de-bonding zone, the de-bonding zone separating, on a portion of the texture, a first surface part of the texture from a second part of the texture formed by a three-dimensional fabric in which the first yarns are bonded with the second yarns, the first surface part of the texture being formed by a unidimensional layer of first yarns or being formed by a two-dimensional fabric in which the first yarns are bonded with the second yarns.

FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE PART WITH INCREASED VIBRATION RESISTANCE

A part of a turbomachine made of composite material includes a fiber reinforcement having a three-dimensional weaving including a first set of yarns made of a first material, wherein the fiber reinforcement includes a vibration-damping element formed by a second set of yarns including a second material which is viscoelastic and which is different to the first material, the second set of yarns being woven with the first set of yarns.

A method of fabricating a docking device involves implementing a three-dimensional (3D) weaving technique to form a 3D textile structure using a plurality of different types of fibers, heating the 3D textile structure on a shape-setting mold at a temperature above a melting point of a first type of fiber of the plurality of different types of fibers to set a cylindrical shape of the 3D textile structure, maintaining the 3D textile structure on the shape-setting mold to cool off for a period of time, and removing the 3D textile structure from the shape-setting mold.

Composite aircraft propeller blade with an integrated spar
11155336 · 2021-10-26 · ·

A reinforcing fiber structure for a propeller blade made of composite material is woven as a single piece to have an airfoil, a spar portion, and an enlarged portion. The fiber structure includes a zone of non-interlinking extending between the front and rear edges of the airfoil, and extending between an intermediate zone and the bottom edge of said airfoil. The spar portion extends inside the airfoil in the zone of non-interlinking, the spar portion extending outside the airfoil through the bottom edge of said airfoil. The enlarged portion extends from the spar portion outside the airfoil. The airfoil includes skins that are not interlinked with each other in the zone of non-interlinking and that surround the spar portion. The skins define two housings present inside the airfoil on respective sides of the spar portion and opening out through the bottom edge of the airfoil.
