An assisting tool is provided for making a tufted ornament having a bunch of threads. The assisting tool includes a first frame and a second frame that form a generally rectangular shape when assembled. The first and second frames have first and second thread hanging portions, respectively, that are spaced apart from each other in a first direction. Each thread hanging portion extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The assisting tool further includes a length adjuster for adjustably varying the length in the first direction from the first thread hanging portion to the second thread hanging portion by allowing the first and second frames to slide toward or away from each other.

A device including: (a) a plurality of pegs, each including a rotational axis along a length; (b) a plurality of weft guides and each individual weft guide is in communication with an individual peg, and the plurality of weft guides are in an alternating relationship so that some of the plurality of weft guides extend in a first direction and some of the plurality of weft guides extend in a second direction; and (c) a translation mechanism in communication with the plurality of pegs so that movement of the translation mechanism results in rotation of the plurality of pegs around the rotational axis moving some of the plurality of weft guides from extending in the first direction to extending in the second direction and some of the plurality of weft guides from extending in the second direction to extending in the first direction.

A weaving tool comprising a first part and a second part, in which a first end of said first part is connected to a first end of said second part by a hinge, in which said first part comprises a first comb portion with first teeth extending away from said hinge, and in which said second part comprises a second comb portion with second teeth extending away from said hinge, in which said first part and said second part are movable about an axis of said hinge between a first position in which said first comb portion and said second comb portion are substantially parallel, and a second position in which said first comb portion and said second comb portion are displaced from one another about said axis.

A swiveling hand loom includes a support base, a plurality of supports connected to the base and extending vertically to support a loom having a plurality of pegs thereon in elevated fashion. The base includes a swiveling mechanism permitting the loom to swivel relative to the support base which allows the knitter to work on his or her lap and not have to move the loom position.
