PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A MULTI-LAYERED SOLE DIRECTLY ON THE UPPER AND MACHINE OPERATING WITH SAID PROCESS
A process for manufacturing a multi-layered sole directly on the upper, of the type that employs the technique known as “direct injection on the upper”, by which soles are made of a plastic material and consist of a plurality of layers with different colour, density, softness and physical-mechanical properties. Said layers form at least an external sole, called “outsole”, an internal sole, called “insole” that adheres and extends only partially or totally on the surface of the upper, and an intermediate sole, called “midsole”, that is intended to hold the other two above-said soles. Said process provides for the use of a single mould which is brought, when suitably equipped, in a well-defined sequence, in front of at least three distinct injectors (I.sub.1, I.sub.2, I.sub.3) in order to obtain, also in sequence, by at least a first moulding operation (P.sub.1) the lower portion of the sole, i.e. the “outsole”, by at least a second moulding operation (P.sub.2) the upper part of the sole, i.e. the “insole” and by at least a third moulding operation (P.sub.3) the “midsole”.
Compressible sole for compressible footwear and method of manufacturing compressible footwear
A compressible footwear that may include a compressible sole and a compressible upper part that is mechanically coupled to the compressible sole. The compressible sole consisting essentially of multiple compressible cells that are made of a flexible material and have top openings and bottom openings. The multiple compressible cells span over at least a majority of the compressible sole and are configured to undergo a compression while substantially maintaining a thickness of the compressible sole.

METHOD FOR ASSISTING JOINING OF VAMP AND SOLE BY VACUUM POSITIONING
The invention provides a method for assisting a joining of a vamp and a sole by vacuum positioning. Initially, the method is that placing a shoe last in a vamp to be joined, coating a liquid medium to a side of the vamp to be joined with a sole or a side of the sole to be joined with the vamp, and combining the vamp with the sole. Afterward, placing the vamp and the sole in a bag, performing a vacuum operation on the bag to press the vamp and the sole, performing a microwave heating operation on the bag to heat the liquid medium to make the vamp join with the sole, and finally taking out the joined vamp and sole from the bag to obtain a finished product.
Method of making a knitted shoe having a tubular knitted upper
A method of making a knitted shoe includes the steps of: (A) preparing a tube main body having opposite first and second openings; (B) closing the first opening to form a front joined part; (C) cutting an oval shaped opening in the tube main body and closing the same to form a side joined part proximate to the front joined part; (D) preparing and sleeving a three-dimensional rigid foam sleeve on a shoe last; (E) adhering the tube main body to an outer surface of the foam sleeve so as to form a tubular knitted upper; (F) placing the shoe last in an oven for heating; (G) removing the shoe last from the oven; (H) adhering a sole to a bottom side of the tubular knitted upper; and (I) removing the shoe last from the tubular knitted upper.
METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING SHOE COMPONENTS
A method for assembling shoe components includes the steps of: providing at least two shoe components, a shoe last and a film unit; placing the at least two shoe components on an outer surface of the shoe last; removably covering an assembly of the at least two shoe components and the shoe last with the film unit such that the film unit and the shoe last cooperatively define a confining space therebetween; and pumping air out of the confining space and heating the at least two shoe components to shrink and deform the film unit so as to press the at least two shoe components to adhere tightly to each other.
