Non-kinking self-wrapping woven sleeve and method of construction thereof
A wrappable textile sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The wrappable textile sleeve includes an elongate wall extending along a longitudinal axis between opposite ends with lengthwise extending edges extending parallel or substantially parallel with the longitudinal axis between the opposite ends. The wall is woven from lengthwise extending warp yarns and circumferentially extending weft yarns. The weft yarns form a plurality of discrete annular bands, with adjacent bands having weft yarns of different diameters to provide the wall with discrete enhanced hoop strength regions and with discrete enhanced flexibility regions, where the enhanced hoop strength and enhanced flexibility regions alternate in adjacent relation with one another.

Weaving equipment with strand modifying unit
Weaving equipment may include warp strand positioning equipment that positions warp strands and weft strand positioning equipment that inserts weft strands among the warp strands to form fabric. One or more of the warp strands may be selectively modified along its length using a warp strand modification unit. The warp strand modification unit may be interposed between the fabric and a reed, may be interposed between the fabric and the warp strand positioning equipment, may be mounted to the reed, or may be incorporated elsewhere in the weaving equipment. Warp strand modifications may include adding segments of metallic paint coatings or other conductive coatings, adding insulating coatings, applying other liquids to segments of the warp strand, modifying the stretchiness of warp strands, removing material from segments of the warp strand, and attaching electrical components to the warp strand.
Textile product
A textile product (1) comprising individual elements (4) interconnected by a textile technique, characterized in that the interconnected individual elements (4) hold at least one decorative or functional element (2, 2, 2, 12, 12, 22) between each other, e.g. by braiding in or braiding around.
Device for manufacturing a weave
A device for manufacturing a weave, including a winder for reeling the manufactured weave to a rotating reel, wire spools arranged to release longitudinal wires to said winder, a wire spool carrier comprising a wheel and a slit extending through the wheel from a centre of the wire spool carrier to the circumference, an additional wire spool releasably attached to the wire spool carrier and arranged to release a crossing wire, and an actuator configured to move the wire spool carrier between the longitudinal wires such that the additional wire spool in turns moves to each longitudinal wire to a position where the respective longitudinal wire is located in said slit at which stage the wheel rotates around said respective longitudinal wire before moving towards a following longitudinal wire in such way that a predetermined path of the crossing wire from the additional wire spool forms the weave with the longitudinal wires from the wire spools.
Woven fabric
In a woven fabric woven from first constituent yarns as one of warps and wefts and second constituent yarns as the other, a part of the first constituent yarns are 2 to 15 side emission type optical fibers woven in juxtaposition, and, when the number of the side emission type optical fibers is 3 or more, a twist-preventing yarn having a diameter smaller than that of the side emission type optical fibers is interposed between the one or two side emission type optical fibers and the one or two side emission type optical fibers.

Loom and method for creating an article
A device including: (a) a plurality of pegs, each including a rotational axis along a length; (b) a plurality of weft guides and each individual weft guide is in communication with an individual peg, and the plurality of weft guides are in an alternating relationship so that some of the plurality of weft guides extend in a first direction and some of the plurality of weft guides extend in a second direction; and (c) a translation mechanism in communication with the plurality of pegs so that movement of the translation mechanism results in rotation of the plurality of pegs around the rotational axis moving some of the plurality of weft guides from extending in the first direction to extending in the second direction and some of the plurality of weft guides from extending in the second direction to extending in the first direction.

QUICKDRAW DEVICE
The present invention discloses a quickdraw device including quickdraw buckles and a woven tape for connecting the adjacent quickdraw buckles. The woven tape is arranged in a hollow cylinder shape. Ports are penetrated on both ends of the woven tape. At least one port of the woven tape is arranged to be curled along a length direction of the woven tape. An inner diameter of the woven tape is equal to an inner diameter of the port. In such design, tensile strength of the woven tape can be effectively enhanced through the curled woven tape. Without sewing, processing is more convenient and quick.
