Crochet Tool
A crochet tool for creating a first loop, comprising a card base enabled to be hand-held including a top edge, bottom edge and opposing side edges. The card may include a first cutout positioned at the top edge extending towards an interior of the card, left of a center point of the top edge, a second cutout positioned at the top edge extending towards the interior of the card, a third cutout positioned at the bottom edge of the card opposite the first cutout and a forth cutout positioned at the bottom edge opposite the second cutout and extending towards the interior of the card. The cutouts are used to hold yarn portions of a single string of yarn, thereby enabling a user to create an initial crochet loop.

Layered yarn and weighted blanket for deep pressure therapy
Disclosed is a weighted material that is configured to effectuate deep pressure therapy to a person when the weighted material is used as a blanket over the person's body. A length of layered yarn is interlooped to form the weighted material. The layered yarn includes an outer tube extending longitudinally from a first end to a second end. The outer tube defines a conduit extending longitudinally therethrough from the first end to the second end. A fiber material is disposed within the conduit and extend longitudinally from the first end to the second end. The interlooped length of yarn, by itself, is configured and sufficiently weighted to effectuate deep pressure therapy to a person when the blanket lies over the person's body. Various other systems and methods are also disclosed.

Layered yarn and weighted blanket for deep pressure therapy
A material configured as a blanket to cover a person's body has a structure of an interlooped layered yarn in which the layered yarn includes an outer tube extending longitudinally from a first end to a second end. The outer tube defines a conduit also extending longitudinally from the first end to the second end. A fiber material is disposed within the conduit and extends longitudinally from the first end to the second end.

Crochet assistance apparatus
A crochet assistance apparatus for supporting a flexible filament may include a first plurality of elongated projections and a second plurality of elongated projections, and may be movable between a first position and a second position. Each elongated projection of the first plurality of elongated projections may be proximate to the second plurality of elongated projections when the apparatus is in the first position, and one or more elongated projections of the first plurality of elongated projections may be moved out of being proximate to the second plurality of elongated projections when the apparatus is in the second position. The first plurality of elongated projections may be coupled to a first panel, and the second plurality of elongated projections may be coupled to a second panel. The panels may be relatively closer to each other in the first position and relatively farther from each other in the second position.
