DATA-BEARING FABRIC
A fabric includes a plurality of open stitches and a plurality of closed stitches that cooperatively define a data-bearing section. The data-bearing section contains coded information associated with the fabric. In defining the data-bearing section, each of the open stitches and each of the closed stitches are employed to respectively represent specific symbols of an encoding system. Each of the open stitches and the closed stitches is recognizable from a captured image of the data-bearing section based on image recognition technology. The coded information is extractable by identifying relative locations of the open stitches and the closed stitches in the data-bearing section, and applying the encoding system.
DUSTING PAD
A dusting pad. The dusting pad may comprise a base layer, a first material, and a second material, wherein the base layer is constructed of a first synthetic material; wherein the first material comprises a first plurality of threads in stitched relation with a bottom face of the base layer; wherein the first plurality of threads project outwardly from the bottom face of the base layer; wherein the second material comprises a second plurality of threads in stitched relation with the bottom face of the base layer; and wherein the first plurality of threads, on average, has a greater average pile height than the second plurality of threads.
Upper and lower torso garments having an improved band
A circularly knitted upper or lower torso garment, such as a brassiere or brief, and method of forming a circularly knitted brassiere are provided, the garment having a circularly knitted body formed of inner and outer layers, the circularly knitted body having at least one torso or waist band, the inner and outer layers overlapping along a fold line, and an elastomeric band positioned between the inner and outer layers proximate the fold line.

VIKING KNIT HAND TOOL
This invention in one embodiment comprises a cylindrical rod with a rotating, removable loop head inserted into the center of the top end of the rod. The loop head is inserted into a vertical hole drilled into the top end of the rod, wherein the loop head is able to rotate in the hole. The loop head has a plurality of outwardly radially extending circumferential loops that receive wire for bending and weaving into the Viking Knit. Preferably, the rod also has an anchor hole, drilled diagonally through the rod near its top end, for receiving and securing a wire. Preferably, the rod also has a conical wire wrap attachment at the bottom of the rod for making wired end caps to cover or enclose the finished Viking Knit Weave. In another embodiment, this invention comprises a hollow cone with a rotating, removable loop head inserted in either or both ends of the cone.

Tensioning device
Aspects herein are directed to a tensioning device for a strand on a knitting machine. The tensioning device includes a mounting plate that may be positioned between a strand source and a feeder bar. The mounting plate supports a first pulley, a second pulley and a weighted third pulley that is movable with respect to the first pulley and the second pulley. By routing a strand over the first pulley, under the third pulley and over the second pulley, additional tension may be added to the strand through the weight of the third pulley.

Fabric, and fiber product
A fabric that includes a loop of a yarn including a voltage generating filament. The fabric has a value of X of 1,000 or more, where X=(A+B)CDE, and wherein: A is a loop angle of the loop of the yarn when the fabric is stretched by 10%, B is a connection angle of the loop of the yarn when the fabric is stretched by 10%, C is a number of the loops of the yarn per 1 cm.sup.2 of the fabric, D is a force (N) applied per basis weight (g/m.sup.2) of the fabric, and E is a surface potential (V) of the yarn.
