Loop material sewing method and loop sewing machine
The loop material sewing method includes: sewing one end of a loop material on a fabric in a state where a front side of the loop material faces the fabric; arranging a fork member including a pair of fork pins so as to arrange the loop material between the pair of fork pins; folding an opposite end of the loop material to a back side of the loop material by rotating the fork member around an axial line parallel to an extending direction of the pair of fork pins; relatively moving the fabric and the fork member in a length direction of the loop material; arranging the folded opposite end on the fabric, pulling out the fork pins from a folded portion at the opposite end by moving the fork member in a width direction of the loop material and sewing the folded opposite end on the fabric.
Presser foot module for a tufting machine
A presser foot module (50) for a tufting machine. The module has a module body (13) for attachment to a tufting machine and the plurality of fingers (12) extending from the body in a first direction which, in use, is opposite to the direction in which the backing medium (1) is fed through the tufting machine. The module body (13) has a downwardly depending lip (53) defining a presser surface (53A) extending across an end of the body which is adjacent to the interface with the fingers (12). Each finger (12) has an unsupported end opposite to the module body (13) so as to provide access to an open gap between adjacent fingers in a direction opposite to the first direction.

SPRING BED MESH SEWING DEVICE AND SPRING BED MESH SEWING METHOD
A spring bed mesh sewing device includes a feeding assembly, sewing assemblies, and cloth pressing assemblies. The feeding assembly can lay spring strings in the transverse direction. Each of the spring strings to be sewn in even rows is sewn on a respective previous spring string through the first sewing positions, each of the spring strings to be sewn in odd rows is sewn on a respective previous spring string through the second sewing positions. The sewing assemblies are arranged at intervals in the transverse direction and are movable in the vertical direction. Each sewing assembly includes a sewing head and a base with a sewing channel extending in the vertical direction. The sewing head can sew two adjacent rows of spring strings along the sewing channel. The cloth pressing assemblies are arranged at intervals in the transverse direction and correspond to the sewing assemblies in the longitudinal direction.

SEWING MACHINE
A sewing machine includes a needle bar, a needle plate formed with a needle hole, a presser bar, a sewing machine motor, a presser motor, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform a first-stitch operation of, at start or restart of sewing, driving the sewing machine motor to move the needle bar from a lower needle position to an upper needle position, and then driving the presser motor to move the presser bar from a lowered position to a normal position. The controller is configured to perform a second-stitch operation of, based on a detection result of movement of a sewing workpiece placed on the needle plate, driving the sewing machine motor to move the needle bar in the upper-lower direction in a state where the presser bar is located at the normal position.

Sewing machine
A sewing machine that suppresses sewing defects is provided. The sewing machine includes: a sewing needle, held by a needle bar and moving back and forth while holding an upper thread; a shuttle, configured to hold a bobbin around which a lower thread is wound and which is housed in a bobbin case, and cooperating with the sewing needle to form a seam; a presser foot member, configured to press a to-be-sewn article at a sewing position directly below the sewing needle; a feeding mechanism, feeding the to-be-sewn article from the sewing position to a first direction; a needle drive portion, provided separately from a belt drive portion to synchronously move the sewing needle and the presser foot component in the first direction; and a control portion, which controls so that the needle drive portion and the belt drive portion operate independently.
