Reconfigurable fabric frame for a maneuverable sewing machine
Reconfigurable fabric frame for a maneuverable sewing machine. In one example embodiment, an example reconfigurable fabric frame may include a take-up pole, an idler pole, a backing pole, a quilt-top pole, and side rails. The side rails may include take-up pole attachment locations, idler pole attachment locations, backing pole attachment locations, and quilt-top pole attachment locations. The side rails may be reconfigurable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the backing pole attachment locations may be higher than the quilt-top pole attachment locations. In the second configuration, the backing pole attachment locations may be lower than the quilt-top pole attachment locations.
Pallet drive system for moving a work-piece
A pallet drive system is provided that is operable for use on a sewing system. The pallet drive system has a pallet that is configured to hold a work-piece in position. A pair of alignment posts is coupled to the pallet. In exemplary aspects, each alignment post has a shape with surfaces extending in three dimensions along x, y and z axes. A corresponding pair of gripping fingers is coupled to a sewing machine, corresponding to each alignment post, that are moveable between an open position, allowing the alignment post to be positioned between the gripping fingers, and a closed position where the gripping fingers surround the alignment post. The gripping fingers define a cavity in the closed position to surround the alignment post in the x, y and z axes.

Method for realising articles having a predetermined area and aesthetic appearance
A method for realizing articles having a predetermined area and aesthetic appearance uses frames to each of which a portion of material having a prevalent flat extension can be removably hooked. The method includes stitching or punching operations and cutting operations implemented on each portion of material in a first station, a second station and a third station sequentially. Cutting operations are executed on a first portion of material hooked to a first frame in a third station, while stitching or punching operations are carried out on a second portion of material hooked to a second frame and punching or stitching operations are performed on a third portion hooked to a third frame situated in the first station in phased relation.

Quilt block easel
An easel for use in the quilting art is provided. The easel has a design board has a front, working surface upon which a person who is creating a quilt may compose a quilt block from individual pieces of fabric. Either extending from, or attached to a back surface of the design board, the easel has a selectively collapsible, support assembly. Two selectively pivotable legs and a rib of the support assembly allow the easel to be stored or transported in a substantially flat condition and/or erected into a substantially standing position when in use. A woven, preferably, microfiber fabric sized to fit around and cover the front, working surface of the design board, is also provided. The fabric being selectively removable and able to be laundered. A storage case is included.
SEWING DEVICE AND SEWING METHOD
The invention provides a sewing device which can precisely and evenly carry out a great variety of sewing works further with a good productivity. The sewing device has a sewing machine (2), and a dual-arm robot (7) having a first arm (5) and a second arm (6) which can operate an object to be sewn (4) supplied to a sewing motion portion (3) of the sewing machine. The duel-arm robot is provided with a camera which can image the sewing motion portion. Further, the sewing device is provided with an image processing portion which processes an image information acquired by the camera, and a command transmitting portion which transmits commands to an arm control portion controlling the first arm and the second arm on the basis of a processing result of the image processing portion.
