Sewing machine
A sewing machine includes an arm portion, a thread spool mounting portion, a bobbin winder, a first guide portion, a second guide portion, and a partition wall member. The arm portion is provided with a drive shaft extending in a first direction. The thread spool mounting portion includes a thread spool pin to be inserted through a through hole of a thread spool. The bobbin winder is provided further to one end side of the arm portion than the thread spool mounting portion. The first guide portion is provided further to another end side of the arm portion than the thread spool mounting portion. The second guide portion is provided further to another end side in the first direction of the arm portion than the first guide portion. The partition wall member is disposed between the thread spool pin and the first guide portion in a second direction.

BOBBIN WINDER DEVICE OF A SEWING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OR REGULATING THE SPEED OF THE MOTOR OF A BOBBIN WINDER DEVICE
A bobbin winder device of a sewing machine includes a motor (1), which is controlled by a motor controller (21), in order to drive a spindle (7), to which a thread bobbin (9) can be attached in order to wind on sewing thread. A brake device (3) with a brake pad (11), which brakes the bobbin arrangement when the winding radius of the wound sewing thread is greater than a predetermined reference value (C.sub.0), is arranged next to the spindle (7). The motor controller (21) monitors at least one measured variable, which is dependent on the load on the motor (1), in the driving circuit of the motor (1). If this measured variable or the rate of change thereof changes such that it falls below or exceeds an associated stored comparison value, the motor controller (21) causes the motor (1) to be shut down.

Under-thread supply device for sewing machine
The present invention relates to an under-thread supply device for a sewing machine, and more particularly, to an enhanced under-thread supply device for a sewing machine, in which the device of the present invention and a unit for mounting said device are just partially changed so as to increase the winding amount of the under-thread of conventional sewing machines in order to achieve improved efficiency of sewing and efficiently reduce the puckering of a work piece without causing changes in the basic structure of conventional sewing machines.

Bobbin and spool management system
A bobbin and spool management system includes a bobbin topper having a central disc with upwardly and downwardly extending stanchions projecting therefrom, each being capped with a mushroom bolster and having a medially located chamfered collar. The upwardly projecting stanchion is adapted to mate with an axial bore in the barrel of a bobbin and retain the bobbin while the downwardly projecting stanchion is adapted to penetrate the axial bore in the barrel of a supply spool and be retained on the supply spool.
