Conductive Embroidery Thread, Conductive Embroidery Fabric Using the Same, and Use of the Conductive Embroidery Fabric
A conductive embroidery thread, a conductive embroidery fabric using the same and use of the conductive embroidery fabric are provided. The conductive embroidery thread of high embroidery quality is without thread tangles and breaks by plying and twisting conductive threads together at 600 or less turns per 1 M to satisfy the strength and elongation requirements suitable for embroidery process application. The conductive embroidery fabric has lightweight and high sensibility advantages by embroidering a skin layer fabric using the conductive embroidery thread at optimal embroidery density and embroidery speed. The conductive embroidery thread and fabric made therefrom may be used for a fiber type electrical and electronic device useful for an automotive interior touch sensor and an automotive interior material.
Article with ribbon structure having nodes and links
An article of footwear with an upper including a ribbon structure is disclosed. The ribbon structure comprises ribbon sections running in at least two different directions. Ribbon sections are connected at nodes. Between nodes portions of ribbon act like links joining the nodes. The links can be arranged in various geometries, including a rectangular grid and a triaxial grid. The ribbon structure may extend the entire length of the article of footwear, and may extend through a forefoot, midfoot and heel.

Textile manufactured article realized by embroidery machines
Textile manufactured article made with embroidering machines, comprising a base structure and at least one thread-like and/or ribbon-like element. The base structure is composed of thread-like and/or ribbon-like elements made of at least a first material. The ornamental thread-like and/or ribbon-like element is made of at least a second material, different from the first material in terms of mechanical resistance and light reflection/refraction. The ornamental thread-like and/or ribbon-like element is connected to the base structure through a plurality of knottings, arranged at pre-defined intervals along the thread-like and/or ribbon-like element realized made of at least the first material. The first material is a nylon having a yarn number between 40,000 Nn and 80,000 Nm.

Method of Making Article with Ribbon Structure and Embroidered Edges
A method of making an article of footwear with an upper including a ribbon structure is disclosed. The method includes laying down ribbon elements in straight and winding sections. The method includes stitching or otherwise attaching the ribbon elements to a backing layer. The method also includes embroidering a periphery of the ribbon structure to tack down any raised portions of the ribbon at the periphery. The method also includes inserting a lace through loops in the ribbon structure.

Article with directional tensioning
An article of footwear with an upper including a ribbon structure is disclosed. The ribbon structure comprises ribbon sections running in at least two different directions. Ribbon sections are connected at nodes that may move substantially independently of other nodes. The ribbon structure can provide strength along one of the directions and may simultaneously remain slack in the other direction.

ARTICLES WITH EMBROIDERED SEQUINS AND METHODS OF MAKING
Hot melt sequins and methods of applying these sequins are disclosed. A method of attaching two components includes stitching a hot melt sequin to one of the components and heating the hot melt sequin to bond the two components together. Sequins can also be applied to articles to create structural elements such as heel counters, toe covers, and lace cages. Sequins can be applied in 1D, 2D, and 3D patterns as well as in dispersive patterns. Sequins can be applied to vary the abrasion properties of a portion of an article.
