Pretreatment device and pretreatment information setting method

A pretreatment device includes a pretreatment portion, a reception portion, a processor and a memory. The pretreatment portion performs a pretreatment on a recording medium. The reception portion receives recording medium information that the recording medium has. The memory stores computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, perform processes including: setting, for the pretreatment portion, pretreatment information relating to the pretreatment, on the basis of the recording medium information received by the reception portion; and causing the pretreatment portion to perform the pretreatment on the basis of the set pretreatment information.

METHODS OF PRETREATING HYDROPHOBIC FABRICS PRIOR TO PRINTING
20210062381 · 2021-03-04 ·

Provided herein are processes and methods of pretreating a fabric (such as hydrophobic fabric) prior to the application of graphics using, for example, inkjet printing. The process may comprise, for example, applying a pretreatment composition to at least a portion of the bottom face of a textile, thereby causing the pretreatment composition to migrate to the top face of the textile via capillary action. The process may further comprise a printing step wherein one or more inks are applied to the top face of a textile, thereby forming a graphical image on the textile.

System and method for characterization of patterns marked on a fabric

A system and method for characterization of patterns marked on a fabric. The system includes a light source generating a light beam to impinge on a fabric; an optical arrangement including a parabolic mirror with a hole and an optical device, directing said light beam towards the fabric; a wavelength division unit; a light detection unit; and a computing device. The optical device changes and orients the direction of the light beam towards the fabric providing a scan of an area of the fabric, line-by-line, and redirects scattered light towards the light detection unit. The wavelength division unit separates the scattered light into spectral bands or colors and the computing device characterizes a pattern marked on the fabric by executing an algorithm that analyzes electrical voltage signals and that computes a quality measure of said marked pattern.

Apparel products by using fabric templates and laser finishing

Laser finishing of apparel products allows an operating model that reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduce product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Improved aspects include design, development, planning, merchandising, selling, making, and delivering. The model uses fabric templates, each of which can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.

System and method of generating a pattern or image on fabric with linear laser irradiation, fabric made by said method, and products made with said fabric

A method of scribing abrasion aesthetics, patterns, images, serial numbers, ply markings and/or other information, such as sizing or care information, on fabric such as denim, before or during the fabric cutting process is provided. The method comprises loading the panel abrasion software, pattern marker software, and fabric scribing software; placing the fabric on a flat surface under at least one laser; laser scribing ply numbers, serial labels, fabric markers, and panel abrasions on the fabric; cutting the fabric into fabric lengths; spreading the pre-abraded and pre-marked fabric lengths on top of each other to create multiple plies in precise alignment; cutting shaped panels along the lines of the pattern marker with a conventional knife, laser, or other appropriate cutting tool; and stacking the abraded, labeled and shaped panels robotically or manually for sewing.

Treatment of textile material

The present invention generally relates to a method for changing the color of a textile material to obtain a vintage and/or worn appearance comprising the steps of contacting the fabric textile material with a nitrate salt, activating the nitrate salt by the addition of an acid catalyst until the desired color change is achieved.

Outdoor Retail Space Structure

A structure has spaces that can accommodate at least two International Organization for Standardization compliant shipping containers. The structure has studs, joists, and rafters connected together above, besides, between, and in front of the spaces for the shipping containers. The structure provides for an attractive outdoor retail space with shading, allowing for signage, decorations, product display, ergonomics, and other retail design features. In an implementation, the structure is for a mobile retail space that is tailored for customizing and manufacture of the customized apparel, especially the laser finishing of products like jeans. The mobile retail space can be relocated to and deployed easily at various events, such as sports events and music festival venues.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DIGITAL DYEING OF THREAD

A thread printing system includes a source spool containing thread. The system also includes various print heads, each of which is fluidly connected to an ink tank. The print heads are positioned to direct and apply ink to a segment of the thread as the thread travels along a transport path along from the source spool. The system also includes a fuser having one or more print rollers that are connected to a heating element. The fuser receives the dyed thread and fuses the ink to the thread. The system may include a controller that is configured to apply ink of different colors to different segments of the thread.
