The present invention related to a method of for the production of textile articles, I which the textile articles can be disassembled automatically or semi-automatically, in which, when sewing or stitching, a polymer melt yarn is used.

METHOD FOR THERMOFORMING PRODUCT OF FILAMENTS
20210054537 · 2021-02-25 ·

To provide a thermoforming method for obtaining a thermoformed article that exhibits excellent abrasion resistance at melt-bonded portions, and excellent adhesive strength between woven fabrics or to another kind of article. Polyethylene having a melt flow rate, measured under conditions of a temperature of 280 C. and a load of 2.16 kg, of 10 to 15 g/10 min and polyethylene terephthalate are prepared. By a conjugate melt spinning method using the polyethylene terephthalate as a core component and the polyethylene as a sheath component, multi-filament yarn in which core-sheath composite filaments having a core component:sheath component mass ratio of 1 to 4:1 are bundled is obtained. A product of filaments is obtained by weaving, knitting, braiding or winding using the multi-filament yarn. Thermoforming of the product of filaments is carried out by heating the product of filaments to melt the polyethylene, thereby melt-bonding the core-sheath composite filaments to each other, with the polyethylene terephthalate retaining its initial filament form.

POLYESTER FABRIC HOOK-AND-LOOP FASTENER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME

A polyester woven-fabric hook-and-loop fastener has a warp yarn thickness Tb which is 0.94 times or less of a warp yarn thickness Ts. A selvage area having a constant width is present on two opposite ends, continuously in a line form in the warp direction, without misalignment in the weft direction. As a result, when the polyester woven-fabric hook-and-loop fastener is sewn onto a garment or the like, a sewing thread sewn to the selvage area is in a straight line without meandering, and thus a sewn product excellent in appearance can be obtained.

CIRCULAR KNITTED TUBULAR STRUCTURE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE OF THE SAME
20210002799 · 2021-01-07 ·

A circular knitted tubular structure manufactured at low cost with use of a circular knitting machine is highly adaptable to bending due to flexibility, having tube inner and outer surfaces so soft that no abnormal noise is produced, and hence useful as a sleeve covering and thereby protecting a cable, such as an electrical wire and an optical fiber cable. The circular knitted tubular structure is formed of a fabric tape formed of circular knitted fabric having front yarn forming loops and back yarn having a higher heat shrinkage ratio than the front yarn and formed into a scrolled shape by letting the back yarn undergo heat shrinkage to have an overlap portion circumferentially overlapping 1.3 to 2.5 times. Apparatus for manufacturing the circular knitted tubular structure includes a furnace and a shape-forming jig.

RECYCLABLE QUILT
20200385893 · 2020-12-10 ·

Described is a recyclable quilt including an upper layer, a lower layer, a padding interposed between the two layers and a stitching which passes through the two upper and lower layers for a mutual joining together. The stitching comprises at least one heat-sensitive sewing thread which has a temperature of change of state or softening which is lower than the temperatures of degradation of the above-mentioned layers and of the padding, in such a way that a change of state or softening of the heat-sensitive sewing thread causes the break-up of the stitching.

BALLISTIC TRANSLATION EFFICIENCY OF HIGH PERFORMANCE FIBERS

A method for improving the translation efficiency of fiber strength into composite strength is provided. A single unidirectional tape, single unidirectional fiber web or a stack of unidirectional web/unidirectional tape plies formed from partially oriented fibers/tapes is primed under mild conditions followed by subjecting the primed plies to an axial extension stress in the axial fiber direction of each fiber ply by passage through a compression apparatus. The axial extension stress extends the fibers, strengthening them, while also compacting the plies together and thereby forming a composite having improved strength. Production yield is improved by avoiding maximal fiber stretching and thereby avoiding typical manufacturing loss, and low weight composite armor having increased strength is achieved.

MAKING SOFT FABRIC TOUCH FASTENERS

Methods of making a male touch fastener product, by shearing distal portions of loops extending from a side of a flexible fabric, leaving fibers extending from the side of the flexible fabric in place of the sheared loops, the fibers extending to respective free distal ends, while leaving other loops extending from the side of the fabric intact, and then heating the distal ends with energy supplied by a linear energy source, such that resin of the distal ends flows to form enlarged heads on the extending fibers, while leaving at least some of the other loops intact. A male touch fastener product has a flexible fabric base with a broad side, and fibers extending from the broad side of the base. The fibers form both loops of fibers, each loop extending from the base at two spaced-apart points, and fiber segments extending from the base to respective distal fiber ends spaced from the base. Each distal fiber end forms an enlarged head of fiber resin for snagging other fibers.
