Garment shaping device
10287721 · 2019-05-14 ·

Disclosed is a two part device for the use of shaping and styling garments such as t-shirts. The bottom device is a solid plastic unit which is rigid on the outside edge and gets thinner towards the inside of the unit forming the plurality of members which, because of the thinness of the plastic, the members become flexible. The inner plurality of integrally formed flexible inner members are spaced apart with an opening that allows the garment fabric to be pulled through and held securely in place. The top device, a solid unit made of elastomeric plastic, fits over top of the bottom device and snaps in place to hide the garment fabric and add style to the garment. The top device is not needed to hold the garment fabric in place but rather is used as a decorative unit to add style to the garment.

Technique to change garments within an existing image

A system automatically generates apparel collection imagery from user-provided imagery. The user-provided imagery includes images of people wearing one or more garments. The system uses segmenting analysis to analyze the user-provided image to identify locations of the garment. From the locations of the garments, the system can determine which garments from an apparel collection can be used to replace those in the user-provided imagery. The system uses pose estimation on the user-provided imagery and modifies a preview image of a replacement garment from the collection. This modified replacement garment image is used to replace the garment in the user-provided imagery.

METHOD OF WEAVING CAMOUFLAGE FABRIC OF THREE-PLY JACQUARD TEXTURE USING JACQUARD LOOM
20190040562 · 2019-02-07 ·

Disclosed is a camouflage fabric which simplifies a preparation process of warps and wefts so as to assure convenience in warp and weft preparation and acquires combinations of various patterns and colors using a three-ply fabric structure so as to satisfy aesthetics, i.e., one of functions of clothing, and to have an excellent camouflaging effect. Dyed yarns of a dark color and dyed yarns of a light color are alternately arranged as the warps, dyed yarns of three colors differing from the colors of the warps are used as the wefts, the warps and the wefts are woven into the camouflage fabric of a three-ply jacquard texture using a jacquard loom and, thus, the camouflage fabric may have combinations of various patterns and colors.

Garment with Finishing Pattern Created by Laser

A garment includes a finishing pattern created by a laser. The garment can be a pair of jeans or other denim garment. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. A technique includes determining a fabric's response to a laser, capturing an initial image of a wear pattern on a garment, and processing the initial image to obtain a working image in grayscale. The working image is further processed to obtain a difference image by comparing each pixel relative to a dark reference. The difference image is converted to a laser values image by using the previously determined fabric response to the laser.

UNIDIRECTIONAL WICKING SUBSTRATE

The present invention provides a substrate having a unidirectional water transport property, the substrate comprised of a fluid permeable structure and including: an inner side surface; and an outer side surface having a higher absorbent capacity than the inner side surface, wherein the inner side surface has a hydrophobic surface layer extending continuously over at least one section thereof, the hydrophobic surface layer having a predetermined thickness which, in use, produces a substantial hydrophobic property to contacting water, whilst allowing for water contacting the inner side surface of the substrate to wick through the hydrophobic surface layer into the substrate; and wherein the substrate is respectively comprised of hydrophobic channels and hydrophilic channels which respectively extend between the inner side surface and the outer side surface.
