Fabric structure control using ultrasonic probe

A method of spreading fiber tows includes applying a coupling medium to a surface of a fibrous structure, positioning an ultrasonic probe adjacent to the surface of a fibrous structure, such that a tip of the ultrasonic probe is in contact with the coupling medium, moving at least one of the ultrasonic probe and the fabric structure relative to the other of the ultrasonic probe and the fibrous structure according to a first pattern, and imparting ultrasonic vibration with the ultrasonic probe to the surface of the fibrous structure while moving the ultrasonic probe along the surface of the fibrous structure. Imparting ultrasonic vibration to the surface of the fibrous structure spreads tows of the fibrous structure.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a color sensor is provided for sensing whether a ground roller in a corona treatment system needs to be serviced. The color sensor is capable of detecting imperfections which have changed the reflectance level of the ground roller from a predefined level. According to another aspect of the present disclosure, if a determination is made that the ground roller needs to be serviced, then an alarm is activated and/or the operation of the corona treatment system is ceased.

Method and System of Creating a Quilted Product

A method and system of creating a quilted product. When it comes to traditional quilting, various pieces of fabric are used and sown together to form one large quilt. This method allows a stamp to be utilized to create one single quilted piece. A first stamp is used to apply a coloring liquid to a blank surface to create a first quilted piece. Then, a second stamp is used to apply a coloring liquid to a blank surface to create a second quilted piece. The second quilted piece is adjacent to the first quilted piece such that it abuts against the first quilted piece. Neither the first stamp nor the second stamp comprise an added allowance.

Provided is a preparation method for a turf-like knitted flannelette fabric, including the following steps: grey cloth weaving, high-speed luster finishing, high-temperature hot air blowing, high-temperature high-speed flapping, high-temperature pre-setting, low-alkali fiber opening, high-temperature dyeing, secondary heat setting, high-speed carding, secondary flapping, high-temperature setting of a finished product, and transferring of a finished fabric. Appropriate yarn materials are selected for carding to adapt to knitting. A bonding force between fibers can be enhanced through high-temperature high-speed flapping, and a form of the fabric can be fixed through high-temperature pre-setting. Low-alkali fiber opening can make fibers in the knitted flannelette swell and separate moderately. According to the preparation method, more excellent flannelette fabrics can be provided, the competitiveness in the market is increased, the original shu velveteen and berber fleece fabrics can be replaced, and new opportunities can be obtained in the fierce market competition.
