A method for making a shoe in a three dimensional manner includes: a step of sewing and weaving, a step of prototyping, a step of inserting an insole, a step of seaming, a step of inserting a shoe tree, a step of pressing which includes: preparing a sole mould filled with a semi-cured sole, and a decorative-member mould filled with a semi-cured decorative member, pushing the decorative-member mould against the vamp with the semi-cured decorative members and the semi-cured sole pressed against the bottom surface; and a step of heating which includes: heating the cloth sleeve to melt the semi-cured sole and decorative members; the decorative members and the sole will be fully cured.

A removable and adjustable insert for footwear has slots placed in the insole and/or midsole of the shoe to allow access to the arch and/or metatarsal and/or heel regions of the insole and/or midsole. In an embodiment, an insert placed into the arch insert slot that establishes how much the arch protrudes above the remainder of the top surface of the insole. One or more inserts are provided having different thicknesses so that the height of the arch can be varied by the user or at the direction of a third party, such as a doctor or a trainer.

A system, device and method for fitness tracking include one or more insoles, the one or more insoles having embedded therein a plurality of sensors; a computer having a processor and memory; and one or more code sets stored in the memory and executing by the processor, which, when executed, configure the processor to: receive, as inputs, data collected from the plurality of sensors embedded in the one or more insoles; filter the data; execute an evolutionary algorithm on the data, wherein the evolutionary algorithm converges the data from the plurality of sensors; and determine, based on the converged data, a total weight applied to the one or more insoles.
